Astros VS Twins Condensed Game 7/5/24 

Earlier in the season, the Astros kept finding different ways to lose. Now they're finding different ways to win. I'll take it.

I almost had several heart attacks during the entirety of this game. Ugly win. Absolutely insane! It's also insane how the 'Stros are continuing to rack up wins without Tuck and a rotation of pitchers.

It's disgusting to hear some cheers from Minnesota when Altuve got hit. They cheer for harm on the guy who didn't cheat, and are cheering for the guy who did cheat - Carlos Correa. Update: X-rays for Altuve are negative.

No sweat, guys! Just trying to get Hader a save in an 8-run game.

It was a great win up until the 9th. Not too worried about Contreras, he just had a long leash tonight because of our lead. What's more concerning is that Josh Hader seems to give up a lot of home runs. I'm always nervous about him giving one up, and he's our best bullpen guy?!? I hope he cleans up his mishaps in the second half of the season. That being said, it wasn't the worst pitch against Correa (unless Correa is known for liking inside pitches)... Overall, a win is a win and I'll take it. Keep the ball rolling Stros, great offensive evening against a good team!

Almost an amazing game until Hader gave up that damn grand slam. I have no faith in him, he seems to give up a HR every game.

People... Chillllll.... When you look at the context of how the bottom of the 9th went it's really not that serious. It was one guy Contreras that ran out of gas and there was 2 outs so Espada was hoping he could get that last out and save another pitcher. And Correa turned on an inside pitch and drove in runs that Hader didn't put on base himself. Long story short it's not that serious. How bout we be happy the offense continues to RAKE, Altuve didn't break his hand, and they won the game. Geeezzz y'all never happy.
