@@QuasarAdventures no it was them some people was just putting to much extra in their technique making it dirty. I marched hbcu and dci and I know dirty when I hear it
@@khard9000 I respect your background and luv folks that can enjoy DCI as well as HBCU bands. Where you there to hear in person? As a person that records hundreds of band videos, i know for a fact that RU-vid videos never recreate the in-person live experience. My recordings are done on iPhones and i do no audio processing on the end, might as well be using two cans and a string. My point is... its hard to judge the sound of live performances just from RU-vid videos alone and its why i travel to see all the bands in person so I know the real in-person experience for myself. Not directed at you, but just my general statement, if you weren't there, then you have no context!!!
SU drumline, yes. But War & Thunder has a swag unmatched by any other drumline. Not saying one is better than the other, but W&T is the best at what they do just as the Z28 is the best at what they do!! Based on my interactions with drumline students across the nation, W&T is the more popular drumline for the kids today.
@@QuasarAdventuresWar and Thunder ran from a battle against NCCU drumline during the pep rally at the Celebration Bowl last year. I'm huge SWAC fan, but these MEAC style drumlines are on a different level.
@@318lovejones That's not a true statement, i was there front and center at the Celebration Bowl Pep Rally. Being that this was a pep rally before the game, the bands had to leave to actually go perform for the football game. You can see clearly see the director (and DM) clear out the drumline and call the sousaphones to the front. You can watch my footage of the the entire pep rally here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8QIrw7Wihls.htmlsi=ORepms43mUULXLbG&t=1439 I do agree with you, MEAC drumlines are different than SWAC drumlines, hence it's not really fair to compare the two. The styles are both great with their respective fans.
@@318lovejones now you no them swac heads ain't trying to hear the hard truth let them stick to them five strokes and accents on 2 & 4 with a few paradiddles.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cookman student 2016-2018 Respect to the section, I’m excited! Respectfully, when his time approaches , snare drummer to the right, lightskin long hair from viewing of the video, he deserves leadership position either in senior year or when earned, he displays the standard and grit , brings excitement to the line, he can make great things happen at famu. Next to the section leader to the right , from viewing perspective of this video. This please allow the next comings up for the perspective leaders. Go MARCHING 100!!!!! 💯 🐍🐍🐍🐍❗️❗️❗️❗️🫡💪🏽👍🏽❤️❤️✨✨✨✨✨
