Arizona State student-athlete Léon Marchand broke his own NCAA record (3:31.57) in the 400 IM with a final time of 3:28.82 at the 2023 NCAA Swim & Dive Championships on Friday, March 24. Marchand's time is now a US Open record and he becomes the first man to mark a time under 3:30 in the 400 IM event.
