@@steelsymen5529 Elphet, before strive, was absolutely *OBSESSED* with marriage. Just look at her win animation in Xrd. If anything, Jack-O is the most *human* of all the valentines as far as I know.
GODDDDDDD, hes so spectrum coded "the truth-- reality -- interested you most. but no one wanted to hear it" the world was an uncomfortable place..." and you had no one to blame for that" you destroyed the world. the people you love. all of it" "...okay, i get it" im sorry i made you say all of that" "that response gets an F" the reason why Asuka R# is like the way he is, is because Asuka didnt know how to recognize his emotions, tics, and other things. literally aware of everything but himself and his own emotions
Dang, going through and reading everything cause I’m a bit obsessed with asuka rn, your comment has made me relate to him more, I never gleamed that as part of why he made his other selves… it’s literally what I do though lol (ai and such, dnd charcters and the like)
Happy Chaos's whole shtick is that he values his own existence. He's a twisted take on nihilism in that he chooses to take a more optimistic route. "If life has no meaning, then we exist to find and make our own meaning, because we have free will." Asuka is a logical man who has spent his entire life trying to find out the answer to the question "Why are we here, who made us, and what were we made for?" As such, he doesn't value his own life and never took into account how important he was as a person to Sol and Aria. This is what ended up causing him to forsake his friendship with them in order to see the both of them happy together, and also why it all went horribly wrong.
Kind of funny that right after he mentions the Valentine sisters, he then mentions the “Frasco specimen” since around a decade ago, I had this theory that A.B.A was a clone of Aria or at least has resemblance to Aria since I always found it odd how similar she looked to Guilty Gear 2’s Valentine and how the two also has an inanimate object with a face for a weapon but after a while, I kind of realize that the theory probably doesn’t hold any water and is most likely a pure coincidence since A.B.A’s design (as far as I know) wasn’t actually done by Daisuke but by Mori(or as some of you might know him as the creator of Blazblue) and it would be kind of weird that Sol of all characters would pretty much say nothing about this in his win quote in XX but when he first sees Valentine in GG2, he was stunned by the resemblance but who know, maybe now the theory holds some water now and they probably would retcon it to make it be that way.
Literally, yes. Figuratively, Asuka sees those people as servants, and he thinks they don’t care about him for his humanity the same way Sol and Aria did.
@@nobleradical2158 He cares about Raven and I-no and wishes to save them. But that doesn't mean they are friends as he would like to be with them...I think alot of us have been in that boat.
Love that this effectively confirms that yes, the different endings DO take place in a sequence. You know, after other characters had it pretty clear too.
I feel like the whole bad end thing was incredibly funny cause one of the most well known moments in strive's arcade prior was the friendship between chipp, anji, and nago, which happened in anji's heart loss end but was important to several other character's routes lol
@@KrissyBlues yeah. It's weird to claim that out of 4 endings it's the second hardest to get that's the bad ending when other characters had stuff going on that make no sense if the hard route didn't happen. Nago literally doesn't know who Baiken is at first, and then the extreme route is them having a rematch for example.
If it wasn't clear enough in previous ones lol, like for example Ky and Sol having intertwined endings with Nago and Ky telling Nago about his humanity It's all coming together-
@@matmil5 exactly. It was one of the dumbest parts of Bridget discourse since it requires ignoring so fucking much in the game itself to pretend its true.
I've always felt the dialogue for these was a hit disjointed and a little different to fully understand at times, but in this case the clunkiness of it all in this context just feels like a neural divergent speech pattern that nobody else can understand. Being autistic, i can affirm that yes, some neural divergents speak in a way that's strange to others, and I just think it's funny and cool that the natural clunkiness that comes from what I assume is less than ideal dubbing can feel so right for this character.
What i love about this is that Asuka are using these fights as stimulates, rather than being a "let our battle spirits commune to explain" its "ive been troubled focusing, let us clash to get out of our heads for a minute" Literally me playing games to give my head room to get cleaned for work or homework
very cool video as always, also wanted to say that hopefully you will consider making a season 3 characters predictions video, your last one was really good!
It seems there is another route when you lose on the 1st stage and lose once on any other (the partner comes to the rescue and at the 7-8 stage he is gone).
This doesn't show all dialogue. I got heart lose for stage one and then lost a heart on stage seven (which was against a normal npc) and then got dialogue that isn't shown here. Stage seven then reset and became a 2v1 with r# as my companion. Stage 8 was then solo and I got the heart lose ending dialogue. I can't remember how the stage 8 intro went.
It revolves around getting straight wins (Winning without a game without losing a heart) Not getting a straight win between stage 1-6 will lock you into Stage 1 Heart Lose scenes Getting straight wins until stage 7 will lock you into Stage 7 Heart Lose scenes Getting straight wins until stage 8 will trigger Stage 8 Heart Lose scenes Getting all straight wins between stages 1-8 will trigger Flawless Run scenes If you lose a life unintentionally while trying to go for straight wins, you can retry the match and it won't have a lasting effect.
Yeah, so there are 9 stages, stages 1, 7, 8 and 9 all can change the route you go on for dialogue and difficulty. Heart lose just means you lost one of your hearts while fighting. And flawless win means no hearts lose, and flawless run means no lose hearts anywhere.
