So Asuka created another Asuka to be more Asuka than the original Asuka, yet the other Asuka ended up helping the normal Asuka be more Asuka than the Asuka copy.
asukaception = Where an asuka creates a copy of an Asuka and the Asuka copy creates another Asuka copy to test the true Asuka of why all three exists finally seeking all validations of their existence lmao this alone deserves three storylines xD
I guess this is a call back to the Story mode, where Anji de-materializes the top of the president's car to check which "That Man" they had (He was looking for HC). That or Anji regularly just jumps Asuka so much that Asuka is done with his bs.
An introspective dive into a character's search for answers as to why they hate themselves and using science and technology to understand and change what they truly think is bad about themselves. the character arrives at the idea that the world might just be better off without him... but one thing he cannot deny is that above all else. he continues to want to exist. Some might even say: His Soul Still Burns.
I'm just so happy that he actually HAS unique dialogue with Jack-O as well. "I bet you see right through me" "yeah, but you're just as Asuka as any Asuka" Well there you go dude, you didn't need to create clones of yourself when Jack-O here is the true therapist
"The unprovable can be proven. Too bad you're the result", "When knowledge and experience don't work, absurdity just might" Asuka out here roasting the fuck out of Chaos also his Faust shin-break reaction might be tied with Bridget's XX portrait for "the most baked a Guilty Gear character has ever looked in a still image"
Goldlewis' win anination genuinely gives us some of the funniest lines in the game lol Like now Slayer's is "Space vampire!" thats it. thats the whole line.
It's so absurd to see Sol and That Man interacting like this after their entire history, I jsut love how Xrd and Strive made such wholesome relationships out of the decades of bloody lore
You missed an interaction he has with jacko. I heard this one in game: Jacko: trick or...oh hey asuka! And he responds with saying something about wanting treats lol
there are more HC vs Asuka lines Asuka: Let's run some tests to see how immortal you really are. HC: Going all out, Asuka? I never thought I'd live to see it.
Asukas arcade mode is literally just him having a therapy session with himself* via combat. *: Technically not *fully* himself as he is chattier and more optimistic (as he states himself).
I think it's because he starts to value himself a little more. Happy Chaos's whole shtick is that life is meaningless and random, so he might as well exploit everything and everyone for his own gain. His theme, Drift, tells us that all he wants to see is the blue skies after the storm, as he is willing to stir up trouble that can destroy the universe just so he can get the satisfaction of seeing the good guys win. In short, he values himself too much. Asuka is the complete opposite, as he doesn't value himself at all. In fact, he hates himself. After he turned his friends into gears and nuked japan, he realized how much of a mess he made and, probably around Xrd, came to the conclusion that the world was better off without him. But at the end of Strive and in his arcade mode, he realizes that he wants to live and help others. He begins to understand what drove his master mad - the will for existence. why did i write this-
@@spacenaves Would be way too much to write about but I’ll try to write it really nice and sweet. The comment I replied got Chaos’ philisophy completely backwards, he doesn’t value himself at ALL, he specifically has a voiceline in the game where he says he has zero interest in himself. He doesn’t think life is meaningless, the view that he’s an Nihilist is a big misunderstanding. An ”optimistic nihilist” is a lot more on brand but still not fully accurate. He views humanity on a universal perspective, which is why he does’t give a shit if he kills a few people as long as he makes things more interesting for humanity as a whole. Good and evil is exactly the same to him, he doesn’t care if he needs to do good or bad deeds to make humanity regain its ”spark”. So in a way he’s similar to the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Many people wrongly remember his legacy as a Nihilist, but in fact he devoted his life to trying to make sure humanity does NOT stray towards a nihilistic way of life. TLDR: He finds great value in life, but not himself. He sees his purpose and the reason he exists to assist humanity towards enlightenment, no matter what he has to do. More than anything though he wants drama (directly says this in storymode), he wants a story, whether he has to be the hero or villain, or to the side, or off in the background. He sees it a lot like a movie. There’s a lot else to explain, that plays a big part in his story and views, but I’ve already written way more than I wanted to lol. Either way I hope this helps, a lot of this information is from story mode, voicelines, and information I’ve gotten from people who are huge fans of Chaos. :)
His Moniker was "THAT MAN" or the Gear Maker for the longest. Until Strive, he was a background or boss character and most everyone was hunting him down. He did inadvertently destroyed the world and won't stop apologizing for it.
"Dont forget all the people you fought on the way here, They may have been my creations, but that makes them your creations, too" WAIT SO HAS THE ARCADE MODE JUST BEEN ASUKA'S CLONE MAKING MORE CLONES IN A SIMULATION?
I like that when he asks his clone to explain its conclusion to him more directly, it cryptically replies "Now is not the time" and teleports away. Asuka: "I'm starting to understand... why Frederick and the rest never seemed too happy to talk to me." It's so funny because that's what he does to other people all the time. He's known for not giving direct answers and vanishing, which arguably caused most of the plot of these games. He thinks he can take it all on himself, not trusting others.
Asuka is capable of making entire gears; simulacrums with consciousness. Asuka R# is created by Asuka R. Kreutz, who is the real Asuka. You can tell by the colour of their eye flower, which is pink on the gears and red on That Man.
2:53 Winning without knowledge? Yes, it's called "Dumb luck". Winning without experience? Yes, it's called "Beginner's luck". But winning without motivation? Sorry, but no. The first step to winning is that you must _want_ to win.
So did asuka make his clones so that they could talk to sol and aria/jacko for him because hed think they would enjoy talking tonthat version of him more
How gay is it if the being you are "making out with" is literally yourself? On one hand, it is still intercourse with another being with the same gender. On the other, it is still with yourself giving the possibility that it could be considered masterbaition.
