Yasha ... the mantra of melancholy ... eternal sadness. This theme just fits him so well, it makes me feel distant and empty just like Yasha. Distant and empty huh, kinda like a desert/western place hence the whistling? This is just so amazing.
I'm really blown away by the soundtrack of this game. Like, it all feels so powerful and distinct, but the genres jump all over the place. And yet it all still fits so well. You wouldn't normally expect something like this to play while a ninja shoots lasers at things in space, and yet it does, and it fits so well.

You can see this point of view: This game was created to be an anime, but they decided to make it an Interactive Anime where you can control the main character and enjoy more than if it was just a simple anime

First hearing this theme in its first phase, fighting him for the first time, hearing it again with the guitar when (spoiler) You play as him.He Breaks into his own base to stop the bermostra, sprinting taking down forces on his own with no time to lose and a sick track in the backround as you literally rush the whole project as one man with a new mission just felt like the greatest thing I've ever play through. Perfect level, my first S on hard mode.
Pingevin1 Not better, but different. The two are just so almost overly awesome that it can't be explained. MGR's soundtrack are extremely good, but Asura's Wrath touches me on an emotional/mental level. Other than that, i'd say they are equal.
MGR:R's soundtrack and story are good. Asura's Wrath's soundtrack kand story are good. Actually , you might want to change AW to MGR:R or MGR:R to AW due the characters and due your personal tastes.
Don't know why, but I always found that Yasha came across as more God-like than Asura. Especially when you get to play as him, you really feel like you're controlling a demi-god compared to Asura where I never really got that feeling. Not sure why that is though. If anyone came offer an explanation I would be grateful.
Guess you forgot all those scenes where Asura blows up entire fleets without breaking a sweat and beats a man larger than the entire planet. Yasha is fast and graceful, but he feels considerably weaker.
Yahsa is a fast and fluid fighter who aims to beat his opponents through speed and precision. Asura just face tanks his way through anything that comes his way. So when controlling them Asura feels slower and more clunky.
+Edward Hardwick Yasha and Asura are both equally godly in their power and ability,what I'm sure made you feel Yasha was the more divine of the two was that Yasha is calm and collected,dignified,whereas Asura is a tortured soul,burning ferociously and lashing out at the people who betrayed him,Asura is much more raw.
