There's no WP screw on this model - to disable write protection, you need to unplug the battery

The keyboard for this device is built into the palmrest (it's a palmrest assembly), so it unfortunately is not removable on its own.

Is this by any chance having to do with the battery cable clip?

Aw... The question is, was it the battery or the motherboard that was damaged? Did the wire pull out of the connector?

@@Chromebookparts idk when i pulled it there was just a string like wire hanging and i couldnt put te battery back in

Hello! This motherboard does not have a removable SSD - the storage is soldered on the motherboard. But it's the large chip next to the LCD connector.
