You get a like and subscribe for the quality of ur vid 👍 I like that u didn't really wanna lose your date and time but did it still for the vid. I spilled beer over my laptop yesterday and the keyboard doesn't work, then i realised it's not charging either... Gonna check for a keyboard vid but you've shown me how to do most already
much appreciate the support and feedback, yes use this video to get to the motherboard and if you want to get an idea how to remove the keyboard watch this, it is the same technique for keyboard replacement, watch that and use logic and you will get it done. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aautKZufpno.html
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, yes, these models of laptops use a lower-grade battery. Unfortunately, there are no better model batteries compatible with this laptop. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
That’s not bad it’s only 20 bucks every year an a half. Now if you can only replace one time even though that would be 3 years of use still good, would be cool if you could keep replacing battery as long as you use it for simple things and take care of it
Thanks. This is exactly the instruction I was looking for. I watched the video and with your helpful guidance completed the task. Easy, even for a fumble thumbs like me.

I have an ASUS e410ma-bv1421ws. I had to open it up and disconnect battery in order to relpace a broken screen. This was succesful, but after some time the battery is dead. Laptop doesn't work without the AC power. I did all ASUS recomendations, including BIOS update, drivers reinstala, hard reset, etc. nothing helps. I have again disconnected and reconnected the battey, but no success. Also, the small locker of the battery fell and I cannot put it back in place. Can this be the cause of problem? The laptop did work for few weeks without it , before the battery died. Any suggestions?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, the lock is not important, just make sure it is snapped in the jack correctly, and i recommend you to remove the back and put the laptop on it's side and power on with charger only and leave the battery disconnected, once in the windows desktop connect the battery and wait few min and see if the charge starting and let me know.
@@uFixTek Thank you very much for your help! I followed your advise exactly, including removing back , disconnecting battery, powering on with charger only, then after windows in up connecting the battery again. But, this did not help. It seems that the battery is not functioning at all. It shows as if 57% charging, but the laptop is completely dead without the charger, and the charging doesn't go up. The laptop is about 1 year old, but out of warranty, obviously. Thanks again!
do me a favor get a battery from amazon and test and if the same, free return the item. when we get this issue in the store we do tests to eliminate causes.
My laptop is doing the exact same thing, won't work unless it's plugged in to AC power. It stays at 37%, doesn't go up or go down. I'm thinking of buying a new battery and trying to install it myself. Did those instructions help at all? Mine is about one and a half years old
@@uFixTek Thank you, I made every effort to avoid this option. Unfortunately, this laptop doesn't justify additional expenses. It's a disappointment regarding ASUS. We will continue using it while it can still be powered by the charger. Nonetheless, thank you for your assistance. I'm certain your customers at the store are highly satisfied!
When disconnecting the battery , it is important to always start by disconnecting it from the motherboard end side. After that, you can safely pull back the jack from the battery side. Alternatively, you can also pull out the jack from the battery side, but be very cautious while doing so. Make sure to pull straight to avoid any sideways force that could potentially short and damage the board. It's worth noting that the jack on the motherboard end is designed as a pull-up design, which helps prevent shorting.

Regarding your statement, I definitely did NOT change it. This is a demonstration video on how to replace your battery, as I made clear from the beginning when I said, "I'll show you how to replace your battery." I never claimed that I would be the one replacing it. Regardless of whether I do or not, this video takes you through the step-by-step process of how to replace or remove it. Should you have any questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
@@uFixTek ok thanks. i guess if you dont need your battery replaced theres no reason to replace it and i appreciate you showcasing the procedure despite not needing to replace the battery yourself
Yes, that is correct. I make these videos mostly because people send me emails asking for guidance and demonstrations. I take the time and effort to walk everyone through the steps, step by step.🫠
