I might be late here, but i will try to ask anyway... The cpu is passively cooled, but with what? Does it have a thermal pad? Can i add thermal pads on other chips? What's under the cpu, aluminium?
Not a response to your question, but mine died because it overheated a lot. When I disassembled it to take the hard drive out, I was surprised to find no cooling on the CPU. I expected at least some metal sheet.
