Hi, thanks so much for the comprehensive testing I would like some of your opinions on choosing a laptop for me, I recently found a Mechrev 13900hx + 4080 laptop with a similar but slightly higher price to ASUS Tianxuan AI 9 HX 370 + 4070, I am a 3D and graphic designer. I mainly use PS and other Adobe series, Stable Diffusion and Blender, and occasionally Unity and Unreal. Which of the abovementioned better fits my task? (edit: I have zero gaming demand on this laptop, if I do, I'll do it on my desktop; that's one of my concerns that the 4080 laptop is an overkill)
My toughts: - should have a 120hz screen - a version with a snapdragon processor (i know we gonna have the PZ13, but my dream its a 32gb RAM laptop with a good battery life) - a chargeless-pen like S-Pen But even with that, overall its a amazing laptop
Its a PROART not a ROG gaming laptop, 60hz its perfect to work Snapdragon its good, but not the best for 3d stuff, so keep dreaming It includes a pen, but why you want a gaming 120hz laptop for using a pen?
@@sergioflores1352 I mean, low budgets smartphones have 120hz screen, shouldnt be that much ask a better display. And asking for a better battery life for a laptop who sells the idea of "you can use anywhere, even in the desert" and have a 3.5 hour of usage its kind inconsistancy. Sorry if i spoke something wrong, english is not my native language but i hope you understand my point
@@esdrascardoso4191 Again, not Al the laptops with GPU are Gaming laptops. I have gaming PC and Laptop but it's very rare to me to play games because I need them for work. Also, 120hz OLED 4K will be very expensive for a laptop, and it will be redundant. In my case, I never used more tan 60hz in my daily life and I use lots of different software. I mean, what's actually the point to have 120hz in a working laptop? And what's the point of 120hz screen in a 4050 laptop? You will have to lower all the settings to play beyond than 60hz. For me that's the perfect laptop for my daily life, actually I'm selling my Razer to buy that laptop 🤣 (English also it's not my native language lol)
@@sergioflores1352 (se me falar que é brasileiro vai ser engraçado kkk) Man the funny thing is, all these things im asking is not for playing, but i get your point. I think if, just the battery was better like, 12 hours of usage, in a sacrifice of a little perfomancing part, this would be a instant buy for me
@@esdrascardoso4191 (yo hablo español haha) 12hrs will be awesome. But only productivity laptops have those times when you only use Office, even sacrificing the performance you will never get 12 hrs of heavy task or gaming. This laptop actually have very decent battery life. Maybe in the future we will have 12hrs or more of heavy usage. (Fun fact MacBooks have better battery life and compatibility than snapdragon with productivity)
Same thing I was thinking, like you having alot of fps but the display is only capped at 60hz He did say it's not a gaming laptop tho but he should have also tested creative programs too since that's what it's marketed as
I would have preferred the 120hz but in many apps and games this is not possible as the 4060 is not meant for 3-4k gaming its only meant for 1080p at best and that is at medium settings
Bigger isn't necessarily better. I personally have been waiting for a strong 13 inch professional laptop for quite some time. I value portability very highly, and vastly prefer the 13 inch form factor to 14+.
I watched a non-sponsored review and it only got 4-5 hours SOT doing work (ART work). The review also stated that CoPilot+ is not available to consumers yet, maybe later in the year. Another one said that gaming it uses FSR3 so high frame rates are boosted by frame interpolation. It also uses MS pen support which is inferior to rivals. Also, only has 60FPS display so not sure how you can get >60FPS in games? Also, pricing in Europe is a lot more expensive, only one SKU and that is £2600 (>$3100). It is a 4070/16-inch. No 13 inch at ASUS so may be launched at resellers. Not sure why anyone would buy this. ASUS did a deal to be the first release of the AMD chip. I would wait for rivals to release their ones and by then this would hopefully drop to a more sensible price in the UK.
He said it's a copilot PC, not a copilot+ PC, but yeah the refresh rate kinda sucks but since it's tailored at creatives I don't think it matters that much, gaming also drains more battery than most creative programs so his battery performance will be different, it's not that much difference tho But I wonder why they only did one SKU for Europe tho
You could even get 1000fps, that's nit how that works. Think of it this way: FPS is how many frames does the gpu produce, Hz is how many frames the monitor can display. GPU can produce as many frames as it can, monitor will still only display only as much as IT can. 16inch is ProArt P16, PX13 is only 13inch. Also, I live in Europe (Poland) and I have all models available here (model with 4070, model with 4060, modek with 4050), and the higher price is not surprising, because everything exported is pricier here because of the eu tax
Says "SPONSORED", I thumb down. If you had paid for it your criteria would have been diametrically different. Brands that fool customers with paid reviews deserve no sales.
Clearly you don’t know what premium is, better software compatibility from the x86 architecture and 11hr battery it’s far better, also look at the performance it beats the MacBooks by a lot at the same price range.
this is so pretty.. I want it but it will cost me 2900 dollars here in norway (with rtx 4070). I would game some on it, but the main ''selling point'' for me is the design😅. is the chassis all metal?
For sure! It has class-leading ultraportable CPU performance and dedicated Nvidia GPU performance sufficient for all but the most demanding professional workflows. There really are only a few things to consider with this laptop. 1. Are you ok with the 13" 60Hz refresh rate on the display? 2. Do you need ARM-level (14+ hours) battery life regularly? Other than those considerations, this thing is awesome.
