Never have I ever seen such a detailed and high quality review and breakdown of a hardware product. This made it so easy to see what all the capabilities are and how to configure a perfect setup. Well done!
I am amazed again by your in-depth review on a motherboard. This content is lengthy but I have watched till the end. I do not know how you do this Kleo. I can tell if any PC products is worth getting, you will sure to do a very lenghty content. Good job, I am convinced. Indeed it's a good motherboard and it's not pricey too, which bring more value.
Hi Nox, welcome back. 😉 You are very right, I do not just want to share basic marketing gimmick but to dive deep what a pc product can offer. That’s my main purpose of this channel. Thanks again for your support 👍
Wow! Great video! Question: If I have the exakt same CPU and Motherboard, could I go for the same values you used in this video 1:1? Or is every system different even if the model and make is the same?
Hi Kitchenfreak81, welcome to my channel, I believe there is a new bios update and it might be of a different layout. Still You can give it a try and test it out. If it’s unstable, you can always revert back to default.
Hello dal doodler, welcome to my channel. Yup, I was very impress with this motherboard and got carried away with so much pros about it. Good things must share hahaha. That’s why it’s so lengthy.
Im having such a hard time installing windows 11, for some reason in the process of setup windows it is required to conect to a internet connection to continue, I plug in the wifi and also the Lan connection and it does not show any network conection, any one had this happened before ?
Hi Tony Dimarco, welcome to my channel and as what I did when installing windows 11, I have my ethernet lan cable connected to this motherboard and I have no test using wi-fi.
my cpu cooler backplate needs to be installed and this mainboard has holes for 1200 and lga 1700 backplate. Which ones are the one for lga 1700 the inner or the outer holes? in the manual you cant see it clearly
Hi Penko1HP, welcome to my channel. Do pardon me as I no longer have this board but why do you want to know. This board is cater for 1700 socket and not!1200. As why you see there are outer and inner. This is because you can use the 115X older socket coolers. When purchasing an Aircooler or liquid AIO, just have to make sure it supports 1700 socket. Or if you have an old aircooler or liquid AIO, make sure it supports 115X

Thanks to you I just got myself one of this MB today. I'm running core i5 13600K. I'm planning to do under voltage like what you have shown in this video. Nice video and very detail. I'm at the point convincing that you are the one who design this MB yourself.
Hi, I have a 860 EVO SATA M.2 and the mobo is refusing to detect it even in BIOS, I have enabled CSM already but still not detecting. Drive is definitely functional, I tested on my older PC. Would you know what the issue is by any chance?
Hi, Kleo Yan. Thanks for the motherboard review. Because your review, i think want to use it in my build. (play some games, android emulator game, photoshop, illustrator, after effect, some light video editing) I have some question :) 1) Do you think with this motherboard, worth to choose 13700 or 13700k? Price difference $26 2)Just to make sure, This motherboard is capable of running 13700k? If i buy this motherboard now and dont update anything, i will get the exact same settings as in this video, right? then i just follow your configuration to limit the power. 3)If i use 13700 (without k) the max power is 219 W. Should the temperature not go crazy even though i don't limit that package power? 4)32/64 GB RAM? 5)Ideal ram speed and cl to pair with? (based on 13700k or 13700 spec) is it 5600? just want to run fast and stable without waste anything. Hard to choose between 5600/6000/6400 or even more? Thank you in advance.
Hi arya, welcome to my channel. I will try to answer your questions as follow :- Q1) Do you think with this motherboard, worth to choose 13700 or 13700k? Price difference $26 A1) Based on the application you are using, the 13700 will be able to accomplish most of your task. Infact I will go for a 13700 with a B760 board. Q2) Just to make sure, This motherboard is capable of running 13700k? If i buy this motherboard now and dont update anything, i will get the exact same settings as in this video, right? then i just follow your configuration to limit the power. A2) I have update the bios when I got this loan motherboard from Asustek. If you want full potential on multi-cores, do not apply my settings. The settings set here are based on undervolt usage, performance on work load will drop but not games. I will still recommend you to update the Bios as there are fixes and performance improvement. Q3) If i use 13700 (without k) the max power is 219 W. Should the temperature not go crazy even though i don't limit that package power? A3) If you decided to use the 13700, run at default settings on your motherboard as most of the time you will only be hitting 65watts or lower. even at gaming, it will not peak 219watts always, plus this chip will hover nicely at 80 to 85 degrees. Just make sure you use either a good AirCooler or a Liquid AIO. AirCooler is sufficent. Q4) 32/64 GB RAM? Q5)Ideal ram speed and cl to pair with? (based on 13700k or 13700 spec) is it 5600? just want to run fast and stable without waste anything. Hard to choose between 5600/6000/6400 or even more? A4 & A5) If you are not doing any 3D rendering. 32GB will be sufficient and if you dont fancy any argbs on the ram (Which I dont) I will recommend you to look for these ram stick. I got mine at USD118. Reason for this recommendation, out of the box, when you set to XMP profile, it will run smoothly at 6000Mhz and with tight timings (CL30-36-36-76) pcpartpicker.com/product/QzP8TW/teamgroup-t-create-expert-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl30-memory-ctcwd532g6000hc30dc01 for work production, the most important factor on rams are the tight timings (CL30-36-36-76) and not the bus frequency. bus frequency (6000Mhz) will only help in games. Hope these help, all the very best with your build.
Hey kleo, Love from india Thanks bro for such a detailed breakdown of this, I'm about to buy this motherboard & felt very much confident after your explanation...even though it's a lengthy but worth it explanation which is necessary i watched it till the end & didn't even realised that spent 1 hr on this... Appreciate the work you're doing... keep it up
@Kleo Yan Wait, you have the option to switch the microcode and set offset voltage on BIOS ver. 0812? Is it running the 104 microcode, maybe? I've heard that microcode switching was added in BIOS v1030 and without 104 micocode you can't apply offset voltage...
HI Last Second Bloomer, welcome to my channel, you are right about this and right after I have updated the Bios, am not able to do that. Thank you for your feedback.
Hi Kleo, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am not a tech guy, and it so hard for me to follow and understand the guide. Let me ask you. I am not planning to do any overclock to my cpu (intel i5 13600kf) as much, just active xmp profile, which is very symple. Can I leave this mobo with the default setting, of course, updating to the most recent bios. What you recomment to me? Thank you so very much again.
Hi Daniel De Vega, welcome to my channel. Yes you can run xmp with default settings not an issue and your processor will be fine. All is needed it a good liquid or air cooler. All the best with your build too 😉
hello Cleo Yan. Excellent review, thank you. I just bought a B760-b and an I5 12600kf. What do you think, would core undervolting work on my processor with the same settings?
Hi SanjinX Kalakovic, welcome to my channel. Undervolting is never harmful, you can give it a try but do note that this content is 7 months old, there might be different bios if you got this board recently.
Hello Kleo, ive been eyeing on this motherboard for a very long time for my future upgrade. i dont overclock and since I use my PC for Blender 3d modelling for games only Dota 2 and Pubg, this motherboard is completely fine for 14700KF?
@@KleoYan I keep hearing rumors from amd when running 4 sticks of ram even at recommended mhz speed from the processor its still experiencing black screens, only fine when it comes to 2 sticks. How many M.2 Drives or how many SATA drives in combination can I run until I will get bottlenecked? Iam not sure and the manual isnt talking about that? :(
Hi skankhunt42, welcome to my channel. You can run all 3 x m.2 and 4 x Sata without bottlenecking. This board supports total of 7 storage connection. Total supports 3 x M.2 slots and 4 x SATA

I'm from Kazakhstan, our card costs 150 thousand and for us this motherboard is not the cheapest, but thanks to the review everything is clear. Thank you for telling me everything in detail about the motherboard, I will build on the basis of 3060ti, intel core i5 12600kf and on the ddr5 RAM. I hope that this assembly will be too strong for the future generation of the gaming industry, I want to work on a computer and decided not to be petty and assemble the first computer, but the most powerful one I will have is water-cooled, I'm afraid to assemble dropsy, but I think this is a new era of hot PCs, and good cooling must necessarily be in such assemblies, it's not because the bv chipset has degraded because of my flaw. If you have any advice for assembly, then I will be glad, I want to assemble the strongest PC possible, it is desirable of course to save money even on such strong configurations. in the USA or Europe, this is not a strong configuration, but for Asian countries it is a very serious assembly, especially for a student
Hi Anoshi, welcome to my channel. when you have mentioned to build the strongest. Technology is always revolving, there are no absolute strongest that will last 10 or more years. Most top end system at the moment will be replaced by a better one in 2 to 3 years time. If you are looking for a PC just to last for the next couple of years (max 3 to 4 years) then I will be able to advise you. However what is the main function of your PC? what is it for? Gaming? 3D rendering? Video editing? I need to know these before I can aid you on this. If it's possible, drop me an email godyzlatech@gmail.com Thank you!
Hello there, just subscribed your channel, you deserve this. Can you help me, was wondering I've got the same motherboard but i7 14700k as cpu and I'd like to make it more stable in temps. Wich setting you suggest? Thanks in advance
Hi tyler 78, welcome to my channel. as this was 10 months ago, I am not sure if you did any bios update as the current bios are not able to do undervolting and the following are grey out. You still can give it a try, 1st is to do offset of your vcore to -0.05v, make sure is negative on offset mode sign (Timestamp 30:15) , 2nd hit down to the PL and PL2 settings (timestamp 29:17) , set both Long duration package power limit and the short duration package power limit to 253w which is your 14700K default wattage. This way you wont lost performance and your temperature will drop as your system will only pull what is needed on your Vcore, you should be seeing in hwinfo, the VID will be at 1.12volts sto 1.28 volts, instead of 1.35v to 1.38v

@@tyler7873 welcome back, is the offset negative 0.05? and as for your PL1 and PL2, mine does better temp when set to 253watts on both. I believe it greatly depends on the cooling you are provided to your processor and you might want to try to lower dont your PL1 and PL2, lets say 248watts
Hi i would like to ask if using a 5600 compared to 6000 RAM speed makes a huge difference for this mobo? Been watching this video and deciding on getting this mobo just not sure what would be the best RAM to use would this work aswell? 6000J3636F16GX2-FX5 with under volting your cpu power usage
Bi Billy, welcome to my channel. It greatly depends what you are using it for? if it's for gaming, the EXPO profile comes in handly with higher bus speed at 6000. if you are using it for work and content creation and such, high bus speed does not improve performance with tighter timing, example CL30-36-36-89 @ 5600Mhz will beat a CL36-36-36-96 6000Mhz, so if you are going after gaming, get the 6000Mhz bus speed.
@KleoYan thanks for taking the time to remark on this, I only just noticed it. Another person stated that it is not suggested to utilize Intel Asus ROG Strix B760-F Gaming Wifi with Intel Core i7 13700k LGA1700 because it has a larger possibility of overheating than a z690-f mobo. Is this correct? Any thoughts on this? Thank you for your second comment. I saved this video for future reference because I like your setup with this mobo.
Thanks for the undervolting settings, I am running the same processor so I copied your settings and I was just blow away by the gain in clk speed and reduced temps/power consumption

Hi LNWLF. STONKS, welcome to my channel. Maybe I should inform everyone how I do windows installation on all types of motherboard, I do not use Wi Fi, instead I use physical RJ45 connection. There are some boards by default, fresh install of windows, they are not able to detect Wi - Fi adaptors.
Hi Omar Hachicha, welcome to my channel, it greatly depends on which intel processor you intend to get. If it’s low end to mid range. This will be a very good board if you do not overclock. The only 2 cons which is my own opinion is the default power limit. It’s aggressive and next are the fan headers. Should have them 2a instead of 1a, as these days performance fans uses higher ampere.
This helped a lot.. thank you, in my case it was i5 13600k. There is one more thing when i swapped my motherboard from Asus rog b360f to this b760-f ,my default stereo speakers were using Realtek usb audio driver but the problem is in the sound settings for my stereo speakers the Spatial audio option was completely greyed out and so i couldn't use dolby atmos as well as dts unbound for my stereo speakers. Hi Ivan Yeong, welcome to my channel. These are my opinion. If you are using it for gaming, not overclocking and use only Gen 4 m.2s. I will get the b760-f. It’s enough to drive as a gaming rig with a i7 13700K. If you intend to overclock and wish to use Gen 5 m.2. I will go for z790-E with a i9 13900k. So it greatly depends what you need. Plus using this b760-F, you will save abit and to invest on good xmp profile rams that runs on cl30 6000

First of all thanks for this great video. I have never seen such a detailed one, and it was just as easy to follow. I was wondering if I can do the same undervoltage on my asus tuf b760 motherboard, and yes I have the same processor as you. I will be very happy if I can because 13700k gets very hot and as a result of my researches everyone is saying the same thing "You can't undervoltage on a non-z series motherboards, so your processor will burn to ashes and there is nothing you can do !!!" Before I saw this video, I decided to buy an asus tuf z790 just for this (Prices are quite different in my country because of the exchange rate.) So if it works for me i'm glad it won't be needed.
Hi SetH-, welcome to my channel, the structure of the UEFI on most mid tier Asustek boards are of similar layout. You can give it a try and to do some testing with your motherboard. Just make sure you start off with the Power Limit PL1 and PL2. The default 13700K TDP is at 253watts, try setting the PL1 and PL2 at 220watts and drop slowly. monitor the performance as in the clock speed, till you find the sweet spot on both thermal and clock speed. Next will be offset, some have reflected to me that they are not able to do the offset after they have updated the bios. If thats the case, by setting the power limit will still improves the theramal. All the best with your settings and if possible, let us know your result too. It will be useful for those who are trying to tame this processor with your motherboard.
Hi, I did everything you show in the video. Setting up pl1 and pl2 works fine as expected, but things are a little different for voltage offset. I followed the voltage values on hwinfo and realized that the settings I made somehow automatically revert to stock settings after the system booted. I'll look for a way to solve this and if I find I'll come back here and share the solution =) Another problem is that 220 even 180 watt was still running hot (around 90-95 degrees). I need a better aio cooler and i will get it as soon as possible. Then everything will be fine... Thanks again for your help, I will be waiting for new videos =))@@KleoYan

Hi Ильнур Беркутов welcome to my channel, I do not have the Aorus Master B760. This is my personal opinion. If you intend to do overclocking. Z790 is still the best way to go.. If it's for default and undervolting, don't have to spend so much on above mid range motherboard. You can save up to spend on better rams or gpu or even m.2s.
Hi! Thanks for an amazing video and i have to ask. I just bought this mobo with the 13900k (without knowing you cant OC, but i dont mind that), but some (not all) are saying this wont work/not good enough with a 13900k?? I know its more than powerful enough out of the box and i dont need OC. Im just in a bit of panic when i cant afford a high end MB bcs of the new gpu. I will use 32gb kingston 6000 ram and 360 artic cooler 2!
@@alexstavik you should be able to but need to fiddle with the new bios. They key to undervolt is to use vcore offset and to set power limits on PL 1 and PL 2. Which base on my experiences. Max PL or power limit or a 13700k is at 253watts. But I find out that you can run it at 208watts to obtain the same or even better performance. In addition to this, it will lower down your temps. I am not too sure how much this board cost at your country and you might want to check out ASRock Z790 Riptide Wifi. That is a good board too and it’s a refresh board for intel gen 14th but can use on gen 13th too.
Hi Pedro A, welcome back, I was saying that in my demo, the Switch Microcode is under AI Tweaker\Tweaker's Paradise but back then the bios version was Ver. 0812 where currently it might not be this version. As what I know the latest bios version have gray out the microcode option. you might want to find the ver. 0812. Kindly note by using older version bios, there might be fixes on new bios which you can't use.

Hello Keponen, welcome to my channel, in general, I will pick this board over any Z790 boards from Gigabyte, Asus and MSI. That is my pick. reason being of the price and feature set. Not forgeting the build and after sales support for me.
@@KleoYan had any trouble with bluetooth? the 1 reddit post I found about it mentions its not working. its very expensive for a b760, 30€ more gets me a asus strix z790-h or that Aorus. But they all seem to have issues so Im stumped
@@keponen331 hi, I am terribly sorry of what I have answered, I got mix up on my reply.. What I mean was another board which is the Z790 ASrock Nova, I will pick that board more than any Asus, Gigabyte of MSI board. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Esfw8JlPNFk.html . now back to your question on this board, I would pick the MSI B760 Tomahawk if budget is of an issue.
@@KleoYan thanks for the replys. Asrock Nova is too expensive for me 450€. Im looking at that ROG B760 for 250€ and ROG Z790-h 300€, Gb Z790 Aorus Elite 300€ thats my limit.
@@keponen331 oh ok.. but if given with your choice, I will go for this Asus B760-F and I find it no point to get the Z790-H which has limitations. now please note I am not familiar with Gigabyte boards of this new era. you might want to ask around at reddit forums.
@@KleoYanty hehe tommorow will start build with 13600K and 4070. But this mainboard is really a good one it's heavier from weight then the ordinary B760 models.
@@endofgame6175 nice... if you happened to complete with pics, mind if you can send some pics of your build to my email godzylatech@gmail.com I will love to see your build too 😊
Hi. Thanks for the review. Is the 1A Fan header a real problem or not? I'm gonna use a 13600K with 360AIO/3QL120 + 7QL120's... Will those fans still be able to ramp-up where they need to be to cool the proc? Can you up the fan header's A in UEFI? Thanks for your reply as I'm a bit concerned now since I was planning to use this board and new to PC building.
Hi Rog Wan, welcome to my channel. Best if you can check your fans ampere. If one is not Above 0.30a you are ok to daisy chain 3 fans to one header. If it’s of 0.25a you can daisy chain 4 fans. So best to check your fan load in ampere. By the way, I don’t quite understand what you mean by up the fan header’s A in UEFI.
@@KleoYan Thanks for the reply. You mentioned in the video that you would set the Amps of the Fan header to 2 Amps? Did you mean it's possible to do it manually in BIOS? Also I keep reading that In B760, undervolting requires 104 microcode in the BIOS to prevent Intel CEP intervening and causing performance drop?.. Not even sure what it means lol and that apparently undervolting in B760 works but you loose performance from the chip mainly due to voltages still running 1.4V instead of the 1.2V even if you adjust TDP? Kinda confusing since it seems to work fine form your video... Sorry for all the questions but like I said, not new to PC building but new to tweaking to that level so just trying to understand so TY in advance. At this point I don't know if I should just get a Strix Z690F to be sure everything works or this B760F since I do not want to use a stock 13600K I will def undervolt but don't wanna loose performance in the meantime.
@@0nyxh oh ok.. what i meant was. If Asustek can set all to 2 ampere instead of having all as 1 ampere.. as you can see on the specification page. It does not matter if it's pump, cpu or case fans header, all are rated as 1 ampere. As for the undervolting, I am more familiar with ASrock board which I apply my method to undervolt on this motherboard. I have notice that it just hunger for more power at default. therefore I did the offset, just letting the processor grab what's needed. too bad I have no time to go into the load line calibration, which I infavor of doing. I hope I did answer your question. The key factor to tone this aggressive motherboard is to cap with a limit and allowing offset for the processor to draw enough to perform. so these are what I did.
Probably the best product review and explanation of all the functions I've ever seen. I had questions about this mainboard before. Now I have none. Thanks! Yes you skipped some of the options in the UEFI but they are as irrelevant to me as they were for you.
@@KleoYan Hey thanks! I've been watching and reading a lot about 12th and 13th gen intel CPUs lately and the heat issues they have. Since I wanted to run a Dark Rock Slim on the board with a 13600k undervolting is probably a smart thing to do.
@@Vampirspiegelei I see, hmm.. maybe watch this, it might aid you too in have better temperature, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xZ2R4roF1_Q.html alot have tested and try it out (not about the MX6, is about how I did thermal paste on a processor) . Even though it's applied on a 7950X, you will still be able to apply on your 13600K.
Hi Tseesium, welcome to my channel. I only set what is shown in this content. I have no idea where to set the microcode 104 which someone have pointed out to me..
