Great review as always. I'm about to order the case but there is something I didn't understand. You say that Liquid AIO and Fan shouldn't exceed height of 60mm and that a 280 Liquid Freezer will not fit. OK, but what about a Liquid Freezer II/III 360? There should be an offset mounting for a 360 that should help make room for both AIO and motherboard. Is it possible on this case? Thanks a lot.
hi kleo i am using asus tuf 1000w. its a hard find but its worth it.i am curious regards to fans. should i use a high rpm fans as intake and slow rpm as exhaust?
Hi Rezuan Isham, welcome to my channel. If you are referring to case airflow, best practice is, the amount of air in = to amount of air out, got to adjust accordingly. It also depends on how you set it up. this is an example. My rig www.reddit.com/r/MontechPC/comments/19esupr/project_montech_king95_pro_sonic_the_hedgehog Top 120mm x 3 exhaust (1000 to 1200rpm) Rear 120mm x 1 exhaust (600 to 800rpm) Side 280 Liquid AIO radiator fans 4 x 140mm Intake (800rpm to 1000rpm) Push pull Configuration AIO pump at 2800rpm Bottom 120mm x 3 Intake (1200 to 1500rpm) The way I do it is depending on the fans you've used. I dont use fanciful fans, just Montech AX and RX fans and the reason I have done the fan curve as listed above. (Intel 14700K, PL1 and PL2 at 238Watts with Vcore offset of -0.1v, load line calibration level 3) 1) cool air goes through the radiator which I can achieve good thermal, at idle 35°C and max temp at 86°C (Cinebench (CPU Stress) + Furball (GPU Stress), score average of 35K to 35.5k) (GPU Gigabte Areo 4700Ti, Undervolt to 0.96mv to run max 2790Ghz, memory clock speed pump to +1000 Mhz) Temp max at 61°c and TJ Hot spot at 76°C) not great but able to sustain good performance www.3dmark.com/3dm/114409740 2) the bottom fans have higher rpm to draw in cool air which will pass through the GPU. I will need to push away the hot air fast. 3) Top fans are my main drive to draw away hot air but I dont need to ram up to high RPM as the rest also shares the load of drawing the hot air out of the case. In order to blance out the airflow of the case and to set the acceptable thermal of your CPU and GPU, it takes time to adjust, while running both CPU And GPU stress test together.
Hi Silbythegram, welcome to my channel. This liquid AIO does not allow you to import .gif, there are only present profile to be loaded on the application itself.
@@bolivarlinux you can give it a try as back then this unit does not allow me to. They could have updated their software. Do pardon me as I have returned this unit and unable to test it now to answer your question. My previous answer to you was based on the time I have this unit.
@@sfhy7971 hi and welcome to my channel. Look around in the app. There should be a setting where you can auto load the app when windows starts. This way you don’t have to keep launching it and to configure.
Hi, thanks for the inspiring videos. I'm using with Arctic Freezer III 360 AIO on Asus B650e-i itx mb no issue at all. I used Arctic Freezer II 280 AIO with MSI PRO B650M-P, left fan just little pushed to cpu power cable.
Just dropping a line to say i appreciated your detailed video overview, this helped me immensely in picking this case and the Arctic liquid freeze II 420. Case was an absolute dream to build in, i did opt to not power the rgb
@@melodawg2k211 hi and welcome to my channel. Thank you for your feedback and call me Kleo will do. Btw this is how I apply thermal paste ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xZ2R4roF1_Q.html at timestamp 02:20
Hi bLitzkreEp, welcome back. If you are skillful and knowing what type of PSU cables you are using, also managed the fan cables and such before mounting in this case. It will be a breeze. Infact just to share. most of my build reviews, I did show how I did the cable management. This case is consider big as compared to ITX..Most of the time I will look at the case and picture all PC components mounted, with slight imagination, I will plot and route the cables in mind. Once have a final draft on my mind, I will then execute step by step to manage the cables. Just so share with illustration ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZscQegOB2rg.html
@@silvianpopusoi9013 hi and welcome to my channel. You can fit but the side fans might block your cables to pass through and to be plugged to your motherboard. You can move the side tray to the front with replacement of glass to mesh at the front, then that will give you sufficient space.
Muchas gracias por el vídeo! Estaba buscando esto mismo, ya que no me gusta como quedan los coolers con la posición A, así que gracias a vos , voy a poner mi PC en la posición H, tengo un Corsair 6500X , con GPU en horizontal. 🎉
@@michalbelko5676 this you dont have to worry. As mentioned 360 Liquid Freezer III will fit with your B650 Tomahawk,. I have mentioned, you only worry if your AIO is of 280 and not 360.
Hi White Eclipse, welcome to my channel. On L-Connect-3 app where it controls the ARGB effects, set the brightness to zero and it will turn off the lightings.
u are 1 of the most detailed reviewer i ever see gained a lot of valuable info about this casing from this vid alone that i can't find anywhere else thx & keep up the good work 😊
Hi Beniamin Popusoi, welcome to my channel. There are no E-ATX standoffs for this case. Though you can still plug an E-ATX board in this case but you will not be able to use the side fan tray as the E-ATX board will block your fans from seating on it. I would not advise you to use a E-ATX in this case.
That’s unfortunate. I really want the b650 taichi lite. If move the two 140mm fans to the front and use the mesh panel, do you think that’ll give the motherboard enough room on the side?
Help at minute 24:00, you show the spacers for the motherboard and heatsink. Can you help me with the measurements? I have the Mystique but don't have the Intel mounting. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me a photo of the block brackets to take the measurements. Please help.
Hi George D, welcome to my channel and thank you for your valuable feedback. I will just let it run in full or you can run it at 80% if it's noisy to you.
Hi Parker Antwiler, welcome to my channel. Good question, I have not further investigate on these fans and so sorry that I have returned these fans to deepcool. Unable to answer your question.
Hi BigRovia, welcome to my channel. I have used a couple like the Gelid Amber 5 or Amber 8.. or you can get this too. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BP1JZTND/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A1X11FOVGZ8LKJ&psc=1
Hi ARBS KUY, welcome to my channel. 1st check on in your device manager, under universal serial bus devices, make sure you see the IDcooling controler there. leave the window open. toggle the function in the ID-Cooling application. does the universa serial bus devices flicker? if it does, they change the usb connection of your pump to the motherboard. if you use USB_1, try USB_2. if it's still not the issue. I would advise you to contact ID-Cooling support team.
This is an excellent video. I have the dark hero, but watching this video makes reading the user manual that much more interesting. Thank you for the upload.
Hello Kleo Yan, i am looking to purchase the galahad II lcd 360 with the infinity fans. Would that work with the king 95 pro case? I previously purchased the lian li hydroshift with the infinity fans and had some fitment issues. Im am now trying to find a replacement with the same fans. Please let me know, thanks!
@@zombie474 hi welcome to my channel. For the GA II LCD with the SL-Inf fans, it will work, mounting at the top, but if that’s the case you should have gotten the King 95 without the pro. As I believe you want to have all SL-INF fans to make it uniform.
@@Energy666. either board does its job. Greatly depends on your usage. For me I will go with Asus x670e-e as all the m.2 slots are on the board and do not require to plug the m.2 PCIe card to have additional m.2.
@@ideabagja hi welcome to my channel. It’s at 2mm thick. For me I will get 2.5mm gelid gp-ultimate thermal pads as they are soft and not hard as compare to Thermaltake Odyssey.
@@wiinaathereal hi welcome to my channel. Base on the experience I had before, it’s not ideal if you are in a hot and humid county. But if you are of a cooler region. Yes you can try have rear fans as intake.
i struggle to wire the ARGB from my arctic liquid freezer 3 aio into my Z790 Maximus Hero because the cable of the radiator fans is a Male and on my motherboard its a male too, but on the arctic website it shows that normaly the Radiator fan cable SHOULD BE a female which would work well.. realy dont get it
Hi Velvet - Real Horror, welcome to my channel. the ARGB plug on the LF3 is a female connector and the ARGB 3pin 5v header on the motherboard is male. you should be able to connect it. maybe take a picture of your AIO argb connector and send it to my email godzylatech@gmail.com. I see what I can do to help you out.
@@KleoYan Yea thats the point :D it realy should be female, but mine is male, or maybe i need to unscrew all the fans and check them, maybe theres something wrong with the cable connections or the real motherboard connector is hidden... alright i will send a picture, thanks!
@@VELVET462 I see what's the issue now after seeing the email. look at the other side of the fan where the tubes are at on the radiator. You see the fan argb is connected to the cable and that cable routes all the way to your pump. your pump will have the female 3pin 5V argb connector. that is where you plug to your motherboard. as that argb cable not only controlls the argb effects of your block but to the radiator fans too.
@@KleoYan My Man! one thing first. In youtube you wrote "welcome to my channel" but its not the first time, im following you a while now. and you helped me some while back! I cant thank you enough, i never installed ARGB but after you said whats wrong of course i saw my mistake xD Everything works like a charm now! Thanks so so much! :) Love your channel, keep up your realy helpful videos and person. greetings from germany
@@x6abhix6 hi welcome to my channel. Nope it only comes with the 24pin PSU strimer plus v2. You will need to purchase the controller if you are only getting the GPU strimer plus v2
@@x6abhix6 for the GPU yes but in this case, you will need to plug to your motherboard ARGB header and to use your motherboard ARGB program to run the effects. L-Connect 3 will not work without the controller, so don’t assume when you plug using the converter and to work with L-Connect 3 program.
I just installed a 12vhpwr strimmer v2 and a 24pin mobo strimmer v2 to one l connect 3 controller but it is making me chose between one or other via the switch on the l connect hub, am I supposed to just get another controller and only hook up the sata power?
Hi Nobody59, welcome to my channel. Each Strimer plus V2 controller supports up to 1 24pin and 1 GPU cable. That's why you have to swith accordingly at the side. which the side with a switch is only mean for your GPU cables depending on what type of connectors. If you have additional 24pin or additional GPU .. then you will need another controller.
Hi René R., welcome to my channel and congratulations on your purchase. The only worries is on the LF3 280. I can assure you that the LF3 360 will fit nicely, not to worry 😉
@@KleoYan Thanks for your quick reply. Much appreciated!! Iam waiting for the last parts for my pc build. Iam not a tech guy. So lets see how your video is going to help me to build my first PC. Your Video is great by the way!! Very in depth (this is what I need).
Hi Ryo yenata, welcome to my channel and it will fit, just need to move the top fans abit to the rear to give more clearance at the front (for your 2 x 140 x 3mm fans)
wow, another one bites the dust - and mounts the fans inside the chamber. Ever thought about mounting the radiator fans to through the bracket to the radiator, so they can actually pull in fresh air?
Hi auroraflash, welcome to my channel. I do agree with you on this point whereby it should be even better for cooling the Radiator. Do pardon me as this content is just an illustration of some placement and alignment on PC Components in this case. Thank you again for your feedback and suggestion. Greatly appreciated it 👍👍👍😉
@@KleoYan Lian Li apparently did it wrong in the presentation and so did everybody else following up. But the case has a very special airflow concept and I would think it makes a huge difference because of that.
@@auroraflash hmmm, you mean the 4070ti GPU at the front. I have mentioned this to them and they did provide a solution. Flip the holding bracket but will need to remove off the rubber gourment. I will be doing up another content on this but will take sometime as my work schedule is pretty pack.. Thank you again for your feedback 👍
Hi Kleo Yan, just found your channel and found this video to be very informative and helpful. Just ordered this cooler to use in my build as my AIO has finally failed. This is extremely helpful and very detailed explanation of installing this cooler. Thx so much for the video! Hope you are well, take care!
Hi, i have brand new still in the box older model Fuma 2, SCFM-2000 model,,,,does it fit on AM5 boards and is it good enough for 7800x3d or should I buy other cooler? Thnx,,, subscribed!
HI Harold Celino, welcome to my channel. You can still display the temperature but not the argb effects. If you want that, you can purchase an additional argb controller.
