There is another product of g16 2023, have you reviewed it? ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2023) Gaming Laptop, 16” Nebula Display 16:10 QHD 240Hz, GeForce RTX 4050, Intel Core i9-13980HX, 16GB DDR5, 1TB PCIe SSD
Witcher 3 Ultra Quality Ray Tracing which includes global illumination lighting while also having more than 60fps in a gaming laptop is insanely awesome performance
Guys i have the G614JI Model and I experience 95 temperature, it does not make sense because in the video max temps are around 80, My lap has a problem?
Any idea if the laptop will connect to two external displays at the same time? I would like to connect a projector to the HDMI port and an interactive (touchscreen) monitor to one of the Type C ports.
I noticed warzone had some serious cpu bottlenecking going on, a friend of mine has a laptop w. A 13th gen and it defaulted the renderer count to 2 in his config file. Might want to check that out seems like the same happened to yours. 😮
Hey, thanks for the video! Could you please help me to choose one of these: strix g16 13650HX 4060 WUXGA 1768 eur TUF F15 12700H 4060 WQHD 1410 eur? I really want to buy the strix version but idk is it worth it Thanks!
In my country this model costs $2055.30, and the next model that has a 13980hx and qhd 240hz display costs $2176.27. Is it worth it to buy the 13980hx one? And can I game on 2k res with it?
Thank you for this review. I’m finally upgrading from my only tech which is my 2010 MacbookPro 😂. I’m at the point where I’ll take anything, so with a few deals off of NewEgg I’m not complaining. Ty for the review!
Umm.. should i buy [Asus tuf gaming A15 fa507xi( 7940H + Rtx 4070)+(1440p +165hz) 15.6 inch +16:9]=1767$ or Asus ROG Strix G16 G614JV which have 1200p + 165hz which is 16inch 16:10 and 13650HX and rtx 4060=1722$
I am planning to buy the Asus ROG strix G16 nvidia RTX 4080 series with 512 Gygabites. 165 herz and 90 wats. Is it any good? Im new to this and I am not sure if it works well the pricing is now only 2399 Euro's some places cheaper. If anybody could help out it would be great and will appreciate it very much. I wanna play games like witchfire and stuff. I have already a PS5 for games like Cyberpunk or Spiderman
I would focus on getting one with higher color gamit 100% P3. The Pulse 15 has that, but if it was my money I would spend more to get a bit more premium product with features like Windows Hello. That said, the Pulse 15 is one of the cheapest laptops with a display that hits the correct gamut.
Can you help me with two queries regarding this laptop? Firstly, does both the CPU and GPU use liquid metal for cooling, or is it exclusive to the GPU? Secondly, are there any reported issues of liquid metal leakage with either this version or the Core i7 version? I've heard concerns from others due to problems with liquid metal in PS5 consoles, and if that's the case, I might consider an alternative PC that uses traditional thermal paste.
I have the same model, but with a 4070. The cpu is covered with a special pad/foil around it to counter any liquid metal leaks. My temps are also good, no 90+ temps under full load. I suggest that you test it with Cinbench and with HWinfo open and if you see a lot of variance regarding temps across all cores, there is a high chance that the liquid metal isn't applied good
I bought this G16 with I9-13980HX processor instead of I7 and QHD screen at 240 HZ. RTX 4070. 2300£ ! Fair price or not ? I couldn’t find anything at better value
Its okay i bought the same for £2099 and not on se for £1899. Honestly the 13650hx rtx 4080 more worth it for the same price as the 4070 like 5fps more than the 4060
I have a question, While watching the video I was noticing the screen stuttering sorta I'm not sure if that's how it looks inperson or it's something with the camera 1:52:32 is a example
Both could be great, though the alienware cpu is better, the strix display is likely better. Asus software is better. That is why I would probably go Asus
@@GizmoSlipTech alienware's screen is better on the models I've looked at. Do you think the difference between TGP and software is a valid reason? because I didn’t like the look of asus and that’s why i am confused. (I will use it in college also i will play games too)
Does this version with Core i7 + 4060 include liquid thermal paste? In information on the same Asus page it only mentions that the version with Core i9 + 4080 only comes with Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal. Oh well, I understand that both versions come with different quality liquid pasta?
Liquid metal is on CPU at all versions. The difference is that the GPU comes on liquid metal when you get 4080 GPU or higher. Anything lower than 4080 on GPU side is normal thermal paste. As simple as that.
@@6.-THE-.1.-BOSS-.9 Now I understand everything, in the top of the range versions both GPU and CPU come with liquid metal. Thank you very much for your help
Heyy guys ! I want buy this laptop ( ROG SCAR G16 ) with FHD 165hz … I want this laptop for gaming and watching movies … the panel with colors is good or maybe find other laptop ? Specs of this Scar g16 is ( i7 13gen / 16 gb ram ddr5 / rtx 4070 )

I keep going back and forth between a gaming laptop or building a small form factor pc for my upstairs kitchen/living room and listening to that whistling...I think I'm leaning towards the build lol
