Hey there, nice review :) I was wondering whether this would be recommendable for a college student use? Any thoughts? I'm not sure whether I should get a laptop or this one cause a lot of people said it's easier to bring a tablet around in college than lugging a laptop around. However I'm gonna have to buy a laptop too since alot of work needs to be done on an actual computer. I'm on a budget too, would this one do?

I just ordered this today on sale for only $170! I can't believe how much computers in general prices are falling.

I'm really thinking about buying this one. I like it a lot. One thing concerns me, though. It's WiFi. I've read here and there that unless you're maximum 6 ft away from the router, you won't get any coverage. The antenna is simply not sufficient. It that true? Did you try to use it away from your router, like in another room? If yes, please, let me know how this really works. Cheers!

You my good sir have got another subscriber and I have one question about this tablet/laptop hybrid, do u have to have the USB in oder for the keyboard to work?

you can also use the Micro USB port using a USB OTG adapter to add another or use it when you need a USB port but don't have the keyboard with you... you can also buy an adapter that plugs into the keyboard plug in to add a 2nd usb port if you are also using the micro usb as a USB port or add a USB and still be able to charge the tablet... if you get what I'm saying although they are a lot slower than the keyboards usb port but they are handy if you forget to grab the keyboard or the keyboard breaks

What's the most gaming this thing can handle? Can it do games like the old counter strike games? I dont care if it does max settings lol I'm not expecting it to but if i can play on it then it would be awesome.

First one the screen turned "plaid" horizontal and vertical lines after 2 weeks. Took that back and they gave me a new one, the keyboard on this one does not work. I think I will give up on it at this point, I really did want to love it.

Thanks for your review. i currently use the Asus TF300T but wanted to get something for taking hand written notes from meetings and sales calls . Unfortunately there is not a good stylus to do so on the T300 . i am leaning to a windows based tablet that I can incorporate with my work PC using one note. I am strongly considering the T100 over the Surface 2. My question is what stylus would you suggest for hand writing notes with the Asus T100. i use Evernote but again with the T300- I cant find a stylus for taking notes. Thanks in advance for your help.

Due to memory constraints, if i install XP or 7 on this, does the tablet touch screen still work? also do i need drivers like a reg laptop to make this work after install the OS? I got a 32GB one so Win 10 fully loaded isnt possible. Thanks

It is imortant to note that its a micro HDMI port which is smaller than the mini-hdmi port... so make sure you get a micro cable and not a mini cable.

Why is the price falling so fast. Here in Canada it's still $299-$399 Canadian. Even with Windows 10 I think it's too expensive.

Is there an attachment that goes into one slot and makes it be able to put all of the holes in it so it can connect to things such as headphones, microphones, headsets, keyboards, DVD recorders, maybe monitors, and that kind of thing? For one thing the portable DVDRW I have needs to have two USBs to power it, so it won't work on this one. I just got one, and was abroad, so I've not necessarily got what I want. I just though it was better than the other little laptops which were there and according to the recommendation of the other person with me. Any help would be appreciated. I"m just debating taking it back and getting a cheaper model, and giving up the touchscreen that everyone else seems to get so excited over, that I hadn't even known that it had.

Please , can you help me 😢 i only used my newly bought asus t100 for 3 day then it stuck the screen won't turn on i've tried the home and power button, power and volume down buttons as well as power button twice - nothing is working and all I am getting is the white light next to the power button flashing 4/5 times when pressed and the weird sound came out like when you pressed the power button when the battery drained . What should i do ?

Which generation it is?

I got one of these from my school, and I have to return it soon, but I lost the ac wall adapter, not the cord, but the usb wall adapter, and have been using an iPad one, but if I can't find it they're going to make me buy the whole thing, and I don't have the money for it, and I can't find this adapter anywhere, and the worst part is it has to be an actual Asus branded one. Hey, could anybody tell me if I'd be ok with the 32gb version? I don't plan on having loads of programs on this, i have a laptop and desktop for that. It's mostly for note taking in college and some web browsing on the go, very casual usuage (just getting it because the battery life is far superior to my laptop). I have a few large micro sd cards (64gb +), and I have an external hardrive (2tb), that I keep all of my videos and music on (I don't like cluttering my internal drives). After updating to windows 10, would you think I'd be ok? I want to buy this soon as there's a good offer on amazon.
