What would be your perfect gaming laptop? 🤔🔥

I'm getting this laptop and it's coming tomorrow, very excited! (This is my first actual gaming laptop)

8 months with this laptop , bought it after seeing your video. amazing laptop for the price. at this price, it's pretty much unbeatable.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm a noob and learned the hard way about graphics. I bought a game on steam I wanted to play and wouldn't you know, my tree trunk (according to benchmark) wouldn't run it. However I really just want the ability to play more, not to max all settings and stream. Thanks for this content! I want more!

It plays Destiny 2 on max settings over 60fps with no drops. Gotta say I'm impressed. Love it so far.

I recently bought this on the back of this review. Really pleased, currently use it for gaming and work. I've only ever had a 'standard' laptop, but like games and didn't want to overspend 'til I knew what a step up looks like. I'm getting good results with the total war series and am not as worried about damaging like i would for £1000+

I'd say this is a great alternative for designers. Not all of us (designers) can afford mid - high level desktops or laptops. And it's even harder when it comes to laptops, which we use the most as some of us are studying and constantly on the go. Therefor this piece is a great affordable alternative. The 60% adobe RGB coverage is not that bad.

Just bought this laptop and pretty much no regret and starting to like it a lot

Beyond what he mentioned, I love the keyboard. It's a bit spongy, but still far better than the surface I was using. I have big hands and type fast, and I'd always miss keys on those kinds of keyboards. I saw an acer for a bit cheaper with similar specs (though storage was 128ssd and a 1tb hdd) and, while I loved the more storage than the 512gb i was looking at and the keyboard had a somewhat better feel, I love the shortcuts on this keyboard. First off, props for not requiring you to use fn to get your f keys. That's stupid, and that practice needs to die. Fn should be for changing volume and brightness and the like. I love the fact that it has a number pad, something I can't live without, and, on top of it all, pressing fn+numpad enter instantly pulls up a calculator. It's a small detail, but I actually end up using windows calculator a ton, and I love this small, but welcome feature. Now the one I got has the 512gb ssd. I value storage more so than having an SSD. To me, SSD is a luxury. If you need to shave off from the price, swapping out a tb ssd for a 1tb HDD is first place to start. Hell, desktop wise, a 1tb M.2 I was looking at costs $120, but I could spend $90 for a 4tb HDD... you are getting more value, in my opinion (though that is the slower 5400 rpm). Also, with modern windows installations, I hate having anything less than a 512gb, as with 128, for example, you are left with 80gb. Meanwhile, games are easily breaking 100gb in size. RDR2, for example, is 150gb, more than the entire drive. However, I can always add an external drive, especially since I'm using this for college. I've seen external 2tb drives go for $60, and generally, as a game storage drive, it actually works pretty well. With 512gb, I can have some room for local files, and, down the line, add an external. Overall, I spent 800 dollars, and it's the perfect happy medium for me to do college work and gaming away from my top end desktop.

I am trying to purchase a laptop, i am a youtuber, right now i am using gopro hero 7 to grab my youtube video, but whenever i edit them in filmorago 9, while rendering the video it hangs a lot.. and i have hp i7- 4th generation. with 6 gb ram. do you think purchasing a laptop Intel® Core™ i7-9750H with 16 gb of ram with graphics card NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 will be a good idea is this laptop is good for editing youtube videos also in 4k or 1080 with 60fps Waiting for ur reply

I just got this laptop online for Christmas, my parents don't really know how to shop for a tech nerd, so they just asked me to pick something, and this looks astounding I love AMD, and the Ryzen Chips, and this will actually out preform my old $500 desktop I built in 2015 by miles, not to mention this is a laptop, so it's portable. That's a pretty good deal for a gaming laptop like this! Could've been useful for me a month ago as I was looking for a gaming laptop for my girlfriend. I ended getting her the HP Omen 15 with a gtx 1650, intel Core-i5 9300 processor, 16gb ram (2666mhz) and 512gb ssd for around $899 It even came with a free gaming mouse because of some sort of promotion. It has RGB lights and all that stuff which is cool

This one is a pretty good option for buying under budget. Very decent performance and overall works for mostly every kind of task. Nice video!

Watching this on FX505 GT :) its a great buy for price. No lag & display is good. I'm using it from past 5 months so far it works smooth. If you want to do design & video editing upgrading RAM would help a lot. headset recommended for best audio, inbuilt speaker is average. overall good laptop & keyboard RGB back light is cool :)

I got this laptop a month ago, and it plays every game I want on high or extreme (assassins creed odyssey, red dead redemption) and it doesn't have alot of fan noise. Its everything I need the display is beautiful but a 15.7 screen is kinda small, but you could always hook it up to a monitor

I really like this mix of AMD cpu with Nvidia gpu - unfortunately OEM’s keep on using less powerful AMD cpu’s in crap budget laptops.

I got myself the Lenovo Y540 15.6’ with an i7, 16GB ram and RTX2060 card. I couldn’t be happier! Love the screen, performance and build quality of it. Only downsides are the battery life but that’s with every gaming laptop and the lack of windows hello features such as fingerprint or face login...but its truly an amazing offer for sure! Enough discounts for it as wel across the board

Bought this just today. I got the FX505DY with 512Gb SSD (not the one with 1TB HDD). I'm not a gamer and i'll be using this mainly on MS Office applications and just reading books. I don't care. LOL! This will probably the laptop that i will use for the next 20 years or until it will break down whichever comes first. It boots up in 10 seconds flat. I am blown away. My previous laptop is an Intel Celeron which boots up in 2 minutes.

I have a asus tuf fx504 gtx 1060,i5 8300h, 8gb ram and 256gb storage for $730 and $70 for shipping to my country.. pretty satisfied with it. Love it

I bought it back when it was released (the DT version) . Two issues still bother me though, inspite of its good performance : 1. The fans are louder than expected, and tend to ramp up sometimes even when the system is idle. 2. I noticed some severe throttling on some games, Borderlands 3 and Witcher 3. I highly recommend upgrading to 16 gigs of memory and adding a 1tb Ssd. Frames have improved by around 20% in some games. Great laptop overall.

i bought mine on black friday for 599 US after like 2 days i was running out of space so i opened the bottom of it and saw an extra 2.5 inch disc slot so i put the 1tb HDD from my old laptop into it and im downloading games like a mad man. anyways so far i've played apex at like 40-55 fps on high and like 75-90 on mid i've had 3 blue screens of death so far :/ but using my asus i can see what the problem is the rbg keyboard is epic and when you type there's a bit of flex not too noticeable,ok i lied its only noticeable when you want it to be and i like the squishy feeling cooling is nice the speakers are weak tho and bec of the material its easy for fingerprints and sttuff to stay on it. One of the best things is the fact that you can upgrade the ram up to 32 gb (im only using single channel atm) so ye dual channel must be insane will upgrade when theres a game that actually needs 16 gb. anyways 100/10 would buy again lol.If you have any questions ask me.

Helios 300 ..2019 model review please

Got this laptop a few months ago and I love it! I actually got it for my small business with the option for some light gaming or video on the big tv here in the living room, but it has quickly become my favorite gaming station! I got a nice little lap-desk and wireless keyboard and mouse, have a HD cable to the bigscreen, and it handles GTA online and WOW classic no problem. Surprisingly powerful and still quiet too. For the price, you can't beat it! I just wish it had more storage, so I'll be upgrading the SSD and I'll slap some more ram in while I have it open.

Got this laptop a few months ago. Excellent little gaming laptop. Would recommend getting an extra stick of ram as dual channel ram is way better than single channel. The laptop also has a spare ssd/hdd slot to take care of the low storage. Get ssd who even uses mechanical drives nowadays.

What about battery life? If you purchase this laptop as a back to college device, you are going to do offimatic stuff too. How many hours of battery does it have?

I bought this laptop and would 100% recommend it. One of the lowest priced laptops in the budget gaming category. That said there are better laptops and this is far from perfect but if you want something that you can game on that will perform decently and won't overheat this is a great choice. Most options come with only a single stick of ram so i recommend adding the second stick in your budget and maybe a Hard drive.

I just bought this with 32gb of ram and a 1tb ssd + 1tb hdd for graphic design and video editing. I've never been able to afford a laptop with more than 16gb of actual memory before (as opposed to Optane), so I can't wait to throw some large scale projects at it and see how it handles.
