There is a new version of this laptop that is supposed to come with a ryzen 5 5500u, 16gb of ram, and a 512gb ssd. I think you should review it because I think those are some amazing specs for only $580

Hi! Great review! I was wondering if this computer does well with video editing. I was also wondering about the battery life, how long does it usually last? Finally, would you recommend the 10th gen core i5 or the ryzen 3500U. I compared both and the intel won in every test but others were saying that AMD won so I was a little confused. Thanks!

I love mine 💜 but sadly can only lock the tdp to 15w to game without it getting toasty. which I am fine with. with the 3500u and vega 8 I play arma 3 koth all day :)

Pretty good for gaming as well you say? I’m looking for something that I can play MMORPGs along the lines of “world of Warcraft” at its peak. I wonder how well this would manage 🤔 I know the game is quite old these days and the specs aren’t top notch requirement

Great laptop I have the 16GB ram version I play rise of nations extended edition on and runs perfectly the boot up is less than 5 seconds I duel boot with Linux mint and is very fast 👌

I upgraded mine to a 2tb ssd sodimm and upgraded to a total of 20gigs memory. Runs like a champ.

asus f1502z is the model number at my local walmart, an i7 intel 16gb and 512gb ssd .... I literally cannot find any info / review on this exact asus vivobook....what is walmart doing? Oh, and cost $599. Its for my mom a power user for business use.

So i actually want to purchase this laptop in the transparent silver version but from other reviews I've read and watched, the keyboard is not back lit. So I'm wandering whether we're talking about different laptops or the silver one doesn't have back lit keyboard, which doesn't really make any sense tbh. Could you enlighten me on that?lol

I don’t see why there would be no backlight it’s not like the computers model is changing per color?!? So tbh I don’t have that personal color, but I would assume that doesn’t effect that!

I know this video is pretty old but I've several questions: 1- does the keys makes lots of noises? 2- have you upgraded it yet? 3- will it work with Adobe premiere? 4- is the screen really that bad?

Keyboard does not, I have not upgraded, it most likely won’t be able to run premiere, and it the screen and rlly good!

I haven’t had much experience with coding, but this does have a powerful CPU which I would assume would work well for what your doing! Just keep in mind that it is a Laptop so it’s not gonna have as much power compared to a desktop!

You can program on anything, even on a raspberry pi. As long as you don't have a macbook (they are fine, but not often not compatible with the required software) and have a decent amount of power (i5 or equivalent, i3 will also do fine), it will do pretty good on programming!

It’s not a IPS display, but when it comes to display the colors actually look really good! Some of the gray colors look a little washed out, but it’s not a Huge problem!
