You didn't add the price to the video this time around... Just the comments.. I always love it when I get all the details in the video. I'm very happy to see a laptop review ☺️
The Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and the Vivobook Pro 16X OLED are the best photo/video editing laptops you can buy under 1,300EUR! If you're a photographer, these two laptops are A DREAM! They can do everything you throw at them, while not being ridiculously and idiotically overpriced! You DO NOT need anything more than that - spending more money on ''better'' laptops is a waste of money and you will not get any performance improvements over these laptops. I do events, fashion and editorials with a 102MP camera and the Vivobook Pro 16X handles these huge files with ease. Even huge batch editing is fast and lag free!
@@ilmatanela1816 Depends on your workflow and files you're working with. For me 16GB is too low. I'm a photographer and I shoot Hasselblad H6D and Sony a7IV. So, in other words, a lot of big files... Can become a problem real quick... I especially had issues with 16GB when we did on-location shoots, the lag was unbearable... My CaptureOne and Lr were maxing out the 16GB sticks, using like 24-26GB of RAM which 32GB solved that issue. Oh and sometimes on bigger budget shoots where we do some video too, even with 32GB I have to wait until I get back home so I can do my thing on my PC, because then I have to run 2 programs on laptop+monitor and that eats up over 32GB of RAM, but I have 64GB on my PC so that's why I do that when I get home. If you're a content creator of any sort, artist or whatever, you can get away with 16 in some use cases but I would wholeheartedly recommend 32GB if possible, just to be safe.
Man I am scared of the 4 cores. I do programming and 3d and sometimes I use very heavy apps and Idk if it will do the job or no. Is this i7 11370h better than the i7 11800h?
@@I_am_Borissss I went with the 15 pro OLED. 8Cores 16Gb ram Rtx3050. I believe it’s the Ryzen 7 5800h that I have. So I didn’t choose the version you see in the video because I was really worried about the 4 Cores. Mine is doing very well. It supports heavy apps like visuals studio or 3D rendering apps. So go for it👍
Hey bro, what laptop did you recommend for vedio editing? Fast reliable and under 1300 euros. Please black friday is coming soon and I want to make out of it. Thanks
@@JoseHCarrillo Yes. I have it. It is a perfect machine. But it has a faulty battery or some batteries just suck. I had it for 2months, always charged to 80%, no gaming and the battery deterioration is already at 12%!
Which phone would you recommend I get around the price range of 120k naira and 140k naira.....I want a phone with good camera, handles gameplay well with a good battery
@@JajaofAbuja thanks a lot, but from the review of valor I heard it lags...and I recently just came across the deal of redmi 10plus on jumia at 136k...is that a better option?
Ugh im so confused, i want 32 gb of ram, and the asus Vivo keeps saying it IS 32gb or UP TO 32gb but reviews keep saying it's 16gb and soddered so it can't be upgraded to 32 gb. And there's no option to for sure get the 32gb one on the shop and im just so confused. I run a lot of tabs and will be going to college for design so i need the 32gb of ram
I'm looking also for 32gb of ram. Asus told me that I can with the K6604 or this one specifically : K6602ZE-DB76. I don't understand why we can't have more than 16gb of ram in most of the asus laptops at this price.
You mention the Thunderbolt 4 to be USB 3.2 Gen 2 (many thanks), could you please share where you found that information? I have been looking around for more information about this ports implementation for about 2 weeks now. Can it also use PCIe devices like eGPU (or rather BM Decklink SDI). Also, can it use the QuickSync feature (need it for HEVC 10bit 4:2:2)?
@@valorreviews Thanks for the quick answer, I already saw that page but it does not say that the Thunderbolt 4 is only USB 3.2 Gen 2. I am new to Thunderbolt and would like to use my Blackmagic Decklink SDI card via Thunderbolt. I did get an answer from a retailer stating that although it had the specs of Thunderbolt 4 it did not get an official rating (whatever that means, I am not a native English speaker) and that they could not advertise with Thunderbolt 4 (they did advertise it as USB 3.2 Gen 2, just like you also said). He could not guarantee eGPU support (and other). Wanting to do video editing on the laptop QuickSync is very important for me as it decides if you can edit HEVC 10bit 4:2:2 (I have the Canon EOS R5). see also www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/What-H-264-and-H-265-Hardware-Decoding-is-Supported-in-Premiere-Pro-2120/ . Have you tested if QuickSync is enabled?
unfortunately no. Although it can be upgraded to a larger one if needed. But it really sucks that the RAM can't be upgraded ! I would think that creatives would really benefit from the option to upgrade the RAM if needed, so it really boggles my mind that Asus decided to go this route.
@@jean-pierreraduocallaghan8422same here. I am looking at this one specifically for photography. It's overall attractive but the soldered ram and single SSD slot bother me a lot. What do you think would be a good alternative with a decent display but upgradable hardware? In the same price range
