Steps:
Step1 Take out the SIM card tray
Step2 Remove the back cover
Step3 Remove the fingerprint scanner
Step4 Remove the loudspeaker and charging port
Step5 Remove the motherboard
Step6 Remove the battery
Step7 Remove parts on frame
Step8 Remove the screen

Thank you so much! My son dropped my phone and it stopped charging, by watching the video I found the black flat cable disconnected during the fall, just needed to reconnect and it is back to life!

I have asus ZE620kl, the phone has this problem: When I press the start button, the display turns on for a moment, I can see the low battery symbol for a moment, then it continues to turn on and off. Sometimes I can see the start screen, but it turns off immediately. I have internally checked the battery voltage value, 4.2 volts. When I insert the battery charger, the phone turns on the display which then turns off immediately. What is the problem? is it maybe motherboard problem? can i recover the data from the internal memory? A thousand thanks FAbio Italy

Yes, everything from the 5z will work on the 5, since they are the same device, except the CPU

Thank you for the video. My Mother board flex connector's pins on the mother board are half broken. how to fix this? Shall I replace the entire mother board or can we solder new socket. Can you please help me with this?

Arr Rear & front camera interconnected bcoz in my Zenfone 5z both rear and front cam have stopped working... Service centre says they need to change both ... It automatically stopped without any external damage... please reply

Great Video! But what's the black plastic part over the board itself? It also in the normal Zenfone 5. Could you leave it out for doing a clear back glass mod ?

Do you mean the black tape on the motherboard and battery flex cable position? The different black tape works like thermal tape, helps the phone getting cold. If you remove that, the phone will take more time to get cold when it's heating.

@@EricWitrigs thanks for the answer. I would guess with the midclass SD that wouldn't be a big deal if I remove it. Don't do heavy gaming and throttling shouldn't be a problem either...

Not much. Pretty cool device. Gets little warm only when you play PUBG on max setting.

mohan velu do that and your circuit board will fry up it doesnt have the capicators nor the resistors for the 5000mah battery

The lack of proper cooling/copper pipe ultimately kills these phones. 5z has no additional cooling vs. 5 despite being twice more powerful (GPU like 10 times). There are very few 5z still working today, without a complete processor reball. 5 on the other hand is a lot more durable.
