I have 2 of their earlier Zenscreens. The built in kickstand is a big improvement, but I don't see enough of a reason to upgrade. My old Surface Pro 3 makes for a much better wireless display.
Hey Teoh, another excellent review! On iPad/iPhone are you able to use the “AirPlay” icon to stream from an application (for example) a RU-vid video or Apple TV movie to the screen once your connected to it? Or is it only screen mirroring this is capable of?
SUPER thorough, really appreciate it - this is from a while ago but do you know if you are able to charge this monitor with your laptop while using it?
Still looking for a portable monitor with vesa mount. I liked the 17.3 uperfect 4k but the price is way way expensive. I hope you can review other units with similar size on the 1080p. My biggiest concern is brightness and color accuracy.
Are you still using the zenscreen go wireless monitor? if so how is the battery 1 year in. I don't see them around on the internet now so don't know if they even make them anymore. Big purchase for me. I am disabled and chair bound with edema so require alot of "feet up" time and laptops are too heavy on my chest.
Too expensive for what you get. Is the 30hz limitation a bug? Because Miracase can definitely do 60Hz. There are cheap adapters that can do it. Touchscreen would also justify the price a bit more.
any kind of protective travel case for this device? i would use it when traveling and google docs is much more easier with larger screen and editing pdfs. so my phone can do that but portable monitor will help my productivity when travel. i travel alot as a trucker. main question is about travel cases for it protective stuff. could be on device armor or a seperate case that shelled with foam inside etc.
@@teohontech7141 new question. does these monitors work with galaxy s21 or ipad mini6? lets suppose it did with s21. so google docs on s21 is cramped and not as pleasant to use on small screen in my opinion. if send to large monitor will is mirror the cramped screen onto big screen or would it unfold it to give a more desktop like google docs experience? this is a type of innovation im looking for. main question: any portable monitors that can unfold cramped screen of phone google docs to give pc like experience of google docs. from phone to portable monitor, or does it always mirror cramped screen onto the larger screen?
Hey Teoh. In your opinion what is the best tablet for drawing? I have a graphic t shirt business and instead of outsourcing the artists/designers. I want to design/draw the graphics myself what tablet do you recommend. I'm really thinking about the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. what do you think?
It comes down to what app you want to use. iPad advantage is in addition to drawing apps, there are also graphic design apps such as Affinity Designer, Adobe Illustrator, Vectornator. Samsung and Google Play Store don't have those apps, but there are many capable drawing apps too, e.g. Clip Studio, Krita, Medibang, Infinite Painter.
so much money and they do not implement touchscreen support ??? even though miracast supports a backchannel for hid usb devices ridiculous asus should be ashamed seriously
