A Black heavy machine like that is a site accident waiting to happen , this is why they paint them bright to avoid safety issues , see leaks easier etc .
Hey guys question! Have you guys ever gotton one of these skids stuck when testing them? And if so how would you get them out?? I would assume with another skid loader!
Hi! Not in recent memory to be honest. They don't tend to get stuck very often at all, as they're great in mud and slosh. Usually it would be best to use another loader with the required pulling power to get it out (often a larger machine) - but be careful not to get that stuck as well! Otherwise slabs or chocks under the tracks sometimes works as a quick escape plan.
ASV Sales & Service thanks for the info! We have a s250 and I love using it! Obviously it’s not as good in the mud as a tracked machine let alone one of your guys machines! My dream machine would be an rt-120 but there very pricey lol! You guys keep doing what your doing!
I've buried a new at the time 2008 PT60 up to the top of the tracks in a swap in the middle of nowhere and to the point that I thought I'd never get it unstuck. I was worried at first because I got the machine so far up the trail that nobody in the area had a machine that could get there to get me out. In the end I got it out by way of 50 ft chain by wrapping one end around a tree and the other around the bucket. I lifted the boom over the cab at the sametime rolling the bucket downward thrusted me forward and helped lift the heavy rear-end up which got me going I had to repeat the process until on better ground. In the end I got out and completed the job. I just purchase my second an Rt60 today and I still run that same 2008 PT60 today.
Hi Steve. Thanks for the message! It's a custom paint job done by our service team in Newcastle. We can complete these on most machines quickly and easily if you're based in Australia - feel free to give us a call on 1300 837 391 to discuss further!
