Relief valve on top of the block the fittings are on does wonders. Also on the female fittings ther is a little ball and notch on the side you wanna line up or they are a pita to plug in. Also plug your attachment hoses together when you get done using them
I actually don't have the machine anymore. 2 reasons. The first being it was an odd size which coming from a PT30 you're already aware of but its kind of stuck between a stand on machine and larger machine like even a T450. The RT40 arms never struggled to lift anything I put in front of it. However, it lacks the weight to back it up so that's fairly limiting. 2nd reason was I figured I'd hop out after prices skyrocketed until I could find a replacement. Got $7k more than what I had paid for it 8 months earlier. I tag teamed a job with a friend and he had an MT100 and it out performed in every way other than speed and of course not having a heated cab. So it really comes down to how much those matter to you. You still may be better served by T450 as they will fit just about anywhere a RT25/30/40 will.
@@eeoutdoors4521 Good deal you made money on the machine! I agree with the awkwardness, but i'm used to it by now. I don't do much landscaping, moreso re-grading yards, clearing, and doing a lot of gravel driveways. I think the t450 would be good for me, but i already have 6 attachments for my pt30, and I often think back to many jobs where i squeezed through a 50" wide fence opening by taking the gate off.
Not sure on the exact model as I bought it used but I’ll see if it’s stamped on the trailer. It’s got an 8k lb axle and 12ft stationary tilt and 4 ft stationary.
You're not tying that CTL down correctly. Use DOT rated chains at all 4 corners, and tighten them with load binders ... don't run a chain through one corner and across to the opposite side, and never use a strap.
