Wonderful video. The narrator (even dubbed) was charming and full of interesting stories and theories about the chateau. Perhaps a monthly update on RU-vid would gather more participants in the guise of volunteers or maybe a Patreon account to allow others (far away like myself) to participate? It's so wonderful to see these places being preserved for the future. Because in that future more people could come and see the renovations and hopefully the completion and beauty of the estate. Admirable, the restoration. We're currently renovating a 175 year old stone cottage in southern India and I can only imagine the challenges and commitment in restoring an entire chateau, and also keeping it in character.

What a beautiful chateau. Alot of work. There are many churches that are being torn down -- maybe you can find one and ask to take the stainglass windows...even if they don't fit..maybe they can be adapted to fit.

As beautiful as this chateau was and continues to be, I found it heartbreaking to see the condition this masterpiece of architecture was. What is it about human nature that people would find such pleasure in deliberately smashing, ravishing and destroying beautiful examples of such beauty as this chateau certainly once was. I am so happy that the chateau is back in loving and caring arms.

Where did people get their wealth from to build these structures, by taxation or enslavement or both, doubt they worked for it. Beautiful job of restoration, where did the money come from to do the work and who did the work ? Who's the architect or interior designer ?
