"The Beardless Bee" is ready for his first swarm call with his dad, "The Bearded Bee", to recover a swarm of Russian bees from a fellow beekeepers tree. This is the third swarm recovered there in the last week, but the Beardless ones first ever. Unfortunately, the swarm that was simultaneously developing in a bush nearby didn't make it on video.

Unfortunately I don't generall bother with swarms. Every one of them seems to be an hour drive from my house, at inconvenient times, and I have enough bees already to just make my own when I want more. I do go after them if they are in a dangerous place near kids, the elderly, pets, etc. These were at an older beekeepers house, and he just didn't have the equipment to put them in. Of course beekeepers help out other beekeepers though.

Just extremely busy with work and the whole covid thing shut down my meetings and all as well the last year. I'm trying to get back into the video thing this year though. I'm just going to be opening up hives to check bees this coming weekend for the first time this season as well.
