No matter who her biological mother was…she was a gift from God (but, then…aren’t we all 🕊️). Her voice pierced souls. Those of us who have been alive in these past decades have been beyond blessed to have seen & heard the likes of Whitney, Elvis, Dolly & Michael J. The “tragedy” of 3 of those lives speaks volumes about the challenges of trying to live normal lives and still manage a talent that is other-worldly 😢. So sad….💔❤️‍🔥

Teresa Graves would have been 15 the day Whitney was born, so back then in 1963 it was tabu to get pregnant as a teen out of wedlock, so it makes sense to hide the pregnancy/ baby & as a die hard Whitney fan sense the 80’s I absolutely hear the resemblance in Teresa’s singing voice, her body language, & definitely her face & slender shape.

It’s common in the African American community for a family member to raise another family member’s child, especially if the person is unable too young to raise a child.
