Lesley I literally had tears well up when I watched this video. How I love and miss my Goa, the red soil and the smell after it has rained. Truly a magical place. Haven't been there since 2013 and hope to make there one day.
Truly mind blowing. Food cant get better than this. The ambience cannot be "created". The owner is blessed to have been bestowed with pristine nature and he is serving it to guests. It cant get better than this. I envy you guys
Simply superb ❤.....one can say Savoi plantation is the very essence of Goa... Inspite of being there for a large chunk of my life I hadn't heard about this jewel... One of the best things about internet..... we get to know about such wonderful places.... And once again thank you for ur sincere effort to show us these beautiful places.... Keep up the good work 🙌🥰
I am a RU-vidr in Europe and I love all your videos. The background Commentary makes your Videos unique and the soothing Bass voice attracts viewers. Sometimes, I don't watch the video...I just listen to the Audio with my headphones 🎧 and imagine the Visuals. Well done guys 👏
Simply divine. So similar to the lush Kerala country side. A beautiful retreat. I am sure all who visit it , will feel very refreshed after their stay there..
The tour of the sylvan Savoi Plantation endowed with a host of nature's bounties was manificent, culminating with a luncheon spread truly show-casing Goa's finest culinary diversity. A visible /audible Grace thanking the Lord for His unfailing provisions would have been most appropriate.
Thank you Lesley, you spured us to revisit the plantation again on our visit to Goa last February. We first went to the plantation in November 2000 and enjoyed the visit even more this time as we went on our own on a scooter from Candolim. A bit hard to find but a kind local gentleman also on a scooter showed us the way. Keep up the good work, we love your channel. P.S. my favourite Goan foods are Vindaloo, Xacuti and prawns recheado, I can’t get enough when I am in Goa.
Such a lovely channel. I've been watching your videos for a few days now and drooling over the all the inviting food, lovely local restaurants and your lovely gang which thoroughly enjoys their food. Esp loving all the fish thalis. This channel is such an amazing find. Can't wait to visit a few eateries. Great going 👍

Hi Lesley, just stumbled across your channel and it such a breath of fresh air. Appreciate the effort you take to showcase such hidden gems to the masses. God bless you and keep up the awesome job you do.
Beautiful Place… 👍🏼👍🏼 This was an apt location for visiting during monsoon, just breathtaking…I am definitely visiting when I am back! And compliments to Viola, her knowledge of flora and fauna is exceptional 😮😮
Absolutely beautiful. So proud of Goa. Mr. Sachin and his family may he be blessed always. He made this episode so beautiful, I never knew this part of Goa. Hope to visit Goa ‘soon/. Thank you Leslie.
As a north indian what i associated Goa was quite the opposite, beaches-drugs & half naked foreign hippies. And thats what the media generally shows about Goa. Ever since discovering your channel, ive seen a completely different side of the state, you’ve given us a glimpse of what the actual true Goan life is!! Keep it up!!
Yes unfortunately mainstream media and Bollywood have created some very objectionable and unreal characterisations of Goa. Glad you can see the real beauty of this state through our channel

Savoi plantation is quite popular. Reputed Italian Canadian chef David Rocco had visited this place and prepared Batata Vada, Sol kadi, Cashew bhaji in his show Dolce Vita India. Popular Indian chef Ranveer Brar also visited this place in his show Great Indian rasoi. Now your team has also visited here 👍👍👍👍
Lesley & Maria... we love the videos you post and the life you live in Goa.. I am certain you must be an inspiration for many with similar keenness to experiment and try various local eateries.. we have tried visiting a couple of the eateries from your list of suggestions and were equally delighted and enjoyed.. I had a suggestion for you to try Greenyard Restaurant and Bar at Old Goa if you have not already tried it. I will be on the lookout to meeting you in person and enjoying a meal together.. Cheers until then 😊🥂

Lovely place, I will surely visit when I come to Goa for good… that will be soon… Lesley could you please update if the Benaulim church librament is open for worship.
Hi Lesley. Is this the spice plantation tour you would recommend or is there something else? Also post the plantation is there anything else around the area to go and do.
I think it is in Red Fort( I stand corrected if wrong). It is an inscription attributed to the Mughal Emperor Humayun "If there is a Paradise on Earth, this is it, this is it." I would borrow this to describe Goa with minor changes." If there is a paradise in the world, it is here in Goa, here in Goa, no other place but in Goa."
Great experience to be experienced in south and at the same time pretty reliable as well. Was wondering if they also have a spice store and how would it be like when it’s not raining. As always awesome video ❤
The gentleman who asked you why you eat with your hands , one such person got the following answer : I have not learned how to eat with my feet .😂 All the best .
