Thomas Lang, the master of space and time takes the world of drums by storm, one blindingly rapid double paradiddle at a time at Guitar Center in Oxnard, CA
Thomas Lang is one of the greatest drummers of all time. I like the fact that he is not with a band, he has drum clinics all over so people can attend and learn from him. What a gift. He is anything but full of himself; he does not need to pump himself up or brag to anyone. He knows who he is and he is willing to share and teach others. Don't see that happening too often - if at all.
@DRAG0NSIN7 I think you missed something apparent from the very beginning...he doesn't care very much for doing interviews/clinics. Some guys doing these kinds of interviews are "idiot haters", so he's probably got his guard up against that. Arrogance usually signals of a lack in confidence. He knows what he's doing can only be duplicated by a small number of drummers, so I doubt that's the case with him. Again...probably more pissed he needs to do clinics to make money, than anything else :-)
um.... if you're sanding your sticks, you could choose natural wood finish... perhaps they're not the sticks for you after all? sanding sticks.... whatever next? They become slippery because you need to keep your body temp down... drummers use fans... they're not there to just blow your hair and look good... they're perfect for keeping your temp down, minimising perspiration and totally eliminating slippery stick syndrome... (SSS) ;o) for what my opinion's worth eh...
