For some reason I’ve always been mesmerized by the beauty of garden courtyards. They transcend the feeling you get being either in a garden or a room. This white courtyard with massive pots was especially beautiful.
the jewel box of the home bears a striking resemblance of the dining area of the riad i stayed at in Marrakech. it was inspirational and soothing to sit and enjoy a meal in such a sumptuous atmosphere. i wish this episode would have been longer! such elegance and class
Hello Susanna how wonderful to see you again and another delightful house. I could move in there tonight.😉 love how he used the borders on the curtains. Such exquisite taste, without being over the top........🤗🇨🇦
Oh, I can't get enough, it like releasing a kid in the best candy store. It really does feel like a completely different universe, those 'trick' windows.... There is no show out there with your quality. I wish it was a Netflix series and each episode was a one hour long in-depth plunge into each fabulous home with some entertaining and stories to tell, or a small trip to their favorite market etc. I just. love your show and it has inspired each home I lived in.
We had the great good fortune of staying for a week at beautiful Dar Zero back in 2010. Charles was the supreme host, and our stay is something we will never, ever forget. There was simply a sense of magic - Charles, his home, the food, his wonderful friends - it cannot be described. I loved seeing this video and the wonderful things Jamie and Marco have done to carry on Dar Zero's legacy. It is in excellent hands.
Gosh, every nook had something different to feast your eyes on. The 2nd level of the terrace with all those beautiful, beautiful red rugs was something to appreciate.
I always love it when you take us on little tours inside houses in Tangier. I'm also fond of your other various destinations , but It is more romantic to explore those Tangier hidden gems (since I'm a Tangerine); that look plain and simple from the outside but are actually full of details and exotic extravaganza behind closed doors. The rooftop is just wow. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks so much!! We adored Tangier and will be bringing another home from there soon! So glad you enjoy and lucky you to live in such a fascinating city!
Tangier has always been a gem and an attraction for artist, designer from all over the world My country, god bless Morocco and Moroccan, has many places that has a certain charm...many designers, architects...has been inspired by Moroccan culture and had also contributed to embellish and magnify it Peace and love
Immediately after the sun goes down, a captivating life slowly starts to take hold on the these magnificent terraces and dream residences located in the historical places of the city of Tangiers, gateway to Africa. The scents of delicious simmering tagines and other savory dishes, the laughter of the neighbors, music and even the silence all form a mesmerizing atmosphere worthy of a thousand and one nights. Thanks for sharing your wonders with us. Greetings from Rabat, Morocco 🥰
@@quintessenceblg My pleasure. Welcome any time. Hopefully the current pandemic will be over and things will get back to normal. Wish you all the best. Stay safe.

Lindo, muito exótico! It's very good to see you again!!! Obrigada... One day you must come to Portugal! Please do more and more videos... you are a "breath of fresh air" in this times....
Thank you and to everyone that appreciate the mystery and the richness of my home country and its people Love and gratitude from a Moroccan that lived in Morocco, Belgium, Ontario Canada and now in south France I got what they meant by the fact that USA-Canada seems to be similar buildings, taste.....Europe is completely different ( because of its old history) and then Morocco, particularly among North Africa and arabic countries, is fascinating...because of its history too The second old royalty in the world Again, I thank every artist, designer, ...human that perceived this magic and contributed to magnify it and make it known
Fabulous interiors. So in tune with arab sensibilities of hospitality and welcome and the refined aesthetic sensibility of an ancient and dynamic civilisation.
Oh Susanna! This was just gorgeous. I could feel the freshness of the air. How absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much. Every time one of these is over I get a feeling of sadness. I just want to linger. I will watch this again later.
OK, to Tangier is on my travel list! I would live on their upper terrace! I am in the middle of overhauling our gardens (gutted them) in the house we purchased and I've been considering mirrors behind the lattice of one of the "rooms" and NOW - there is no doubt! This couple is darling and so good looking! I was hoping to see more of the house - so beautiful! I concur Pernilla S - "a small trip to their favorite market" would be yummy! LOVED his trick with bringing home the border because he did not have room in his suitcase for all of the fabric! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Exactly! TRUE bohemian lux jewel box that invites complete relaxation. Beautifully curated and the fabrics beg attention! ONCE again, a perfect visit. Thank you very much for showcasing this historic gem. And so true about Florida, as one must be walled and gated to live with our treasures , which are perceived as eccentricities.
Ahhhhhhh! To travel abroad again - what a treat! And in one of the most phenomenal + inspired homes - it made me yearn for Africa. Thank you! c’est très formidable!
That was divine. The variation of beautiful saturated colors against the white was a joy to see. I loved the mirror illusion. Just brilliant. Thank you so much Susanna for posting this loveliness. It made my weekend.
Thank you so much for opening my world and allowing me to see this exotic place.. I loved virtually traveling with you. This video is too short. I need more, more more! :)
Love their house and decor. There is no denying, Morocco has its own special magic. I remember going from Marbella to Tangiers years ago. I felt I had come home. Thank you for making another video filled with stunning interiors.

I’m amazed that the additional living room is decorated with a purple patterned chair, the blue patterned banquette, red patterned upholstered coffee table, and all the mismatched pillows. But it’s marvelous!
@@quintessenceblg It certainly does! It is perfection! I would love to be able to emulate that but I'm afraid it would be a hot mess if I attempted anything similar. Besides the architecture itself is amazing. I kept pausing the video to take in all the wonderful details. Thank you so much for posting this video! It was a much needed visual treat and escape to a wonderful exotic world! Simply gorgeous! And the French accent didn't hurt either! ;) Ha!
I love that Quintessence brings the best of design to the masses at a global level. I always look forward to new posts, and I am always delighted with the videos. Thank you so very much. This house is delightful.
Oh my goodness this place is absolutely amazing. I love their taste they are both darling and I wish I could go to Tangiers one day. Thank you for bringing this to us.
Congratulations from Poland.I've been in this magic town many years ago and I love it.This house is exactly quintessence of marocco style and art.May be it's look like museum, but everybody find in this place good atmosphere, beautiful old objects, colour glass lampions and many others. This house is really amazing and fabulous.Thank you for possibility be in this place with You.I have marvelous memory from the past.....
Exotic home through & through. I'm most intrigued by the wall mirror with screen in front of it, quite the "display of illusion", thank you for bringing us to a truly magical place.
I love how generous these folks are, taking us into their home. It's such a delightful treat. I will not likely in my lifetime ever get to Tangiers but just having a little taste of it is like a miniscule getaway. Love the trim around the curtains...great way to stretch the fabric!
Just spectacular!! Tangier was our first stop when we went to Morocco last February. Unfortunately, that trip was cut short and we had to come home, but what an amazing country.
Watched the Milan episode with references to Tangier so went immediately to this fantastic place. It is an out of this world home. The levels, the outside spaces, the greenery in huge pots, and white plaster with bursts of color in the marvelous fabrics. So well done. Take me away.
Quintessence I 💖 your programs. I have travelled all over the world, have a degree in Interior Design, homes in Hawaii, Ireland & London. Spend my life creating different styles of home & gardens in different locations. It is my favourite hobby. You do such a great job. Would love to see how Tim Corrigan is doing with his new Chateau💖
naomi milner Amazing!! We did an update video with Timothy in his office - hope you saw. And Timothy posts chateau updates on his Instagram feed if you are on that platform. We will go back to document the “after” as soon as travel is possible again!
