I had the same side burn problem. I how ever didn't get the green shadow so not sure about that. But it will get rid of your side burn hair for sure!!

I have a shocking problem on my chin. Have been using for 4 weeks and although I've got amazing results in my legs and arms I'm not seeing any results on my chin at all! No thinning no reduction...nada. I'm so petrified it's not going to work!!!!

Yes you need to shave. DO NOT pluck, wax, tweeze, etc. In order for the IPL laser to work properly no matter which IPL you have it needs the hair follicle.

@@selanasol778 yes, u have to read the directions & It’s not instant when ur hairs so thick & dark. It’s also very annoying once you zap the hairs, they all start coming to the surface & fall out slowly which’s embarrassing & but dont pluck them, it hinders the results! just keep zapping & u can just shave when they start falling out & come to the surface but dont pluck. If you stay up with doing this every so many days it says to it does work! It just takes a lot longer for us women who have thick, dark gorilla hair. Any areas I had thinner lighter hair it worked much faster. Just keep at it! Don’t skip the days ur supposed to use it, be consistent. I found out meds I was on was contributing to crazy hormonal fluctuations & high cortisol & testosterone. Also found I have pcos if dark black facial hair doesn’t run in ur family for women ? get checked, there may be something contributing to ur hirtuism - also found out the lash serum I used (w/prostaglandins) was being smeared on my face at night which caused darker hair growing around my eyes & cheeks 😖😫 - anyway, the braun5 works just takes longer - there’s an fda approved @home laser which’s better than ipl. I’ll have to look it up & tell u what brand but it’s a lil more expensive-Good luck 🍀 & ur not alone! 🥰

I use the highest setting on my machine for all my areas. But again everyone is different. Start of small and build up

It really depends on your skin color. Look at the manual to see which setting to use for your skin color. you don't want to burn yourself.

@@Claro2496 I stopped using it after many sessions and the hair came back. IPL only burns down the hair, so it grows back more slowly, but it doesn’t target the root of the hair. I went to a professional who was using the newest technology „dioden Laser“ That attacks the root till its dead and the hair won’t grow back ever. I did 15 sessions and I’m 90% hairfree and totally happy 🙏🏻

@@Claro2496 yess I’m so glad I got it! It’s reduced soo many of my thick hairs!! Obv some hair are still there but its gone to 3/10 hair wise. The thickness of hair has definitely helped xx

I believe you still can. but with acne your skin might get irritated or extra sensitive. double check with your dermatologist before using just to be extra safe

@@tkxx7093 I have acne too, mostly on my chin area but I haven't used my IPL machine on my face yet. I need the aloe vera gel moisturizer so I'm waiting for it to arrive first. I think you should do the treatment around your acne but if you have a lot of acne, then I think you should wait until they go away so you can use the IPL on your cheeks.
