I loved that Dr. Pen stamp. So, so useful. I use Gin Amber's aqua pen (in a stamping motion) for medical needling. Wait 4 weeks and then start cosmetic needling once a week for one month. So I alternate, one month of medical needling, wait 4 weeks, and then do 1 month of cosmetic needling. Love to use the Dr Pen stamper for cosmetic but if I run out cartridges for Gin Amber's Aqua Pen, I have flexibility to use the Dr. Pen stamper for medical needling since you can adjust needle depth (that's why I love it). :) Watched video for tips: always avoided my eyes with stamp and the aqua pen (I bought a dermaroller for eyes) but after watching your video, will try the area with the stamper. I have the same issue: neck and chest have far more damage there. My neck and chest always have that permanent sunburn look too. Can't wait to see your results on your neck and chest after all the laser treatments.

Hi Tracy, glad to hear you are loving the stamp as well. It sounds like you have a great routine. Let me know how the stamping under the eyes works out. And yes, fingers crossed for some good results from the Vbeam. It is somewhat painful, but hopefully worth it xx

I use red light therapy at night (including my face for collagen production). Since you’re supposed to have a clean face when using a red light panel, do you have any suggestions on how best to incorporate cosmetic microneedling with my red light therapy? I’m also curious if you have any thoughts on using cosmetic microneedling at a needle depth of .25mm to allow minoxidil to penetrate a little deeper into the scalp without it going systemic, since the standard depth is 1.25mm for hair loss and regrowth. At that depth it is recommended to wait 24 hours before applying minoxidil. Thank you for continuing to provide fantastic content!!!

Hi, you don’t actually have to have clean skin to use LED. You can use an antioxidant serum before hand, just as long as it doesn’t have any oils. Though I recently made a video on using castor oil with LED light therapy, and it seems that that might actually be beneficial, so the whole oil thing is debatable. As far as micron, the scope, I think .25 should be just fine. However, if you do have a prescribing doctor, I would double check with him. x

Hi beautiful, every time is see your micro needling video, i ready to start, but havent yet😂. I think my skin is about ready, because it is sensitive. But i have been using my curology retina complex at 0.035% for a year now, and for a few months now, i started alternate with AHA’s . I purchased from Dr rajani skincare line. He is here, on youtube, and very knowledgable , makes videos about all the newest procedures. And i really love his skincare. So finally, i am able to use ferulic Vit C. I still dont do every morning, but almost, and my skin is not irritated at all. I was thinking to increase the retina, but maybe better i start medical micro needling first.🤔 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

So you prefer Dr Pen over Derminator? I saw a very interesting video yesterday where a woman used Dr Pen vs Derminator on a banana. If you don’t use a stamping motion with Dr Pen instead of dragging motion, the banana was badly scratched. Now I know that skin is not a banana. But the germinated banana didn’t have any scratches, no matter the depth. You can go up to 1 mm deep with the doctor pen without the scratching. I think. I will try to link the video so you can watch it. It’s pretty interesting. I tried to use a stamping motion when I use a machine anymore anyway because I’ve always suspected that it’s almost impossible not to scratch the skin just a little bit when you have needles going in and out of the skin like they do with motorized devices. Sorry about all of my long post here lol. 😂. You are one of the few people that actually has derma stamp videos that I trust 100%. I knew that whatever brand you were using would be the best. I will use your discount code and get myself a couple of these. Thank you so much!❤

Looking pretty Claudia. Are you still happy with your Lanluma? It really looks super, I think. Had mine nearly 4 weeks ago. I don’t see any changes yet, although I can feel something going on. Micro needling was not for me. And that’s fine. For my skin, less is more. If I faff about too much with too many treatments, I break out in acne. I’m pleased in a way because there is no way I could afford all of the gizmos and potions. Hugs to you. X

At 18,000 revolutions per minute (rpm) my Dr pen goes up and down, in and out of my skin 300 times per second. If I stamp, all those holes are in the same spot. If my needle is shallow and fast the risk of scratches as I glide my pen is minor, esp. at .25 mm. I know that clay models and bananas show scratches, but those surfaces would show scratches just from pressing on them. I don't think skin reacts the same way at that quick speed and minor depth. I'd glide.

Thank you! Super informative. I have a few questions , hoping you can get back to me. The ads that have targeted me are a supply for a number of uses. Prefilled with product in them . Can I use the cosmetic stamp without product or put the product on my skin at the beginning like you did in the video? You also sanitize your stamper instead of using a new needle holder every time which seems like a better idea to me. Your thoughts? Thank you in advance. Patti

@claudiaglows
@claudiaglows 11 месяцев назад
Hi, you are actually medical needling at 0.75mm. It just refers to the depth and everything over 0.5mm is considered medical microneedling Ideally you want to use high molecular weight hyaluronic acid or a serum that is ok to be used for medical microneedling. It will sometimes specify or you can look for something that is ok to be used for meso therapy, which means you can use it for medical needling as well. Unfortunately I am not sure what is available in Canada, but you could do a goggle search for the above. One cheap serum is the high molecular weight HA from Cos de Baha, you could see if that is available in Canada. x

I just purchased two stamps. I did buy a cheaper one on Amazon but am afraid now because I read about possible permanent holes or track marks microneedlijg can leave. Is the Dr pen safe not to cause that? I'm only interested in doing .5mm. Also, it says hyper or hypo pigmentation can happen. I really want to try regularly but am so scared of causing a different problem. It seems most here have no problem. There are stories on reddit of people that had developed holes even at .5mm. It looked like large pores but the person did not have that before. Thanks for any reassurance!
