Also we home schooled our daughter, she never went to school, and I can tell you, tricks like muting the ipad does work, it's still getting him to read, our daughter played computer games that she really wanted to play and that were full of puzzles and she had to read and do maths, look at history etc, you can make everything a lesson without them realising they are learning and they are having fun so your doing a great job, you should be so proud of yourselves.

He’s not a bad person or abusive. He loves with his whole body and he probably holds her like that all the time and she hates it bc it’s restraining but he’s not doing it in a bad way. I’ve been with my husband for 16 years and he has annoying habits that annoy me too. He also gets frustrated when he’s in the middle of speaking and someone cuts him off. Which is clearly her bad habit that annoys him. It’s a typical marriage.
