I can see this feature being useful when you go to large concerts and events since you will have a better priority level which can be the difference between having data or no data. It looks like AT&T is the first wireless carriers starting to monetize their 5G network by offering users the option to pay for better priority layer on their network. I will most likely add this feature to my account assuming if the Motorola 5G phone I have is supported.

I don’t mind paying for this update. It sucks that they are charging us for something we already had, but at least it’s not forced. If you have trouble with congestion, get it, if not then don’t get it. Personally I’m having a few issues because Miami is full of AT&T customers and the network gets congested specifically around the downtown area.

Most people won't need it. Since the towers where I live are never congested, I have no need for it.

This feature is great for people that are going to need it ,if you are not effected by congestion then it's fine to go without it. I myself would like having that higher qci.

I use the AT&T $20 unlimited tablet plan for work mainly. My current tablet is a Samsung s9 Galaxy Plus which is 5g. I have needed it during congested areas with extremely slow to no data. I’d be glad to pay extra for that service depending on what area I’m in.

I do not believe it is network slicing or the phone selection would be extremely limited to certain 5G phone models. I do not believe all the 5G cellular modems support SA especially the budget/mid range phones correct me if wrong.

Okay I am curious sneed I know you're going to need a 5G capable phone but what about if you are connected to 5G low band because that's where I could see the feature being very useful. I know if you're on c band or dod there's enough capacity there where you should have a fast experience.

Paying $7 each line is insane. It should be pay $7 for all lines to access AT&T turbo. Instead of this, they should’ve revamped the plans and got rid of starter. Put unlimited extra to the first plan and premium PL to 2nd and more priority on 3rd plan, but you don’t expect anything good from trashT&T
