At The Gates - Slaughter Of The Soul - Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival 2018 . Title Track : Slaughter Of The Soul Ronnie James Dio Stage www.bloodstock....
Ola plays with several members and former members of ATG in his band "The Haunted". Speaking of his heroes, I hope Dimebag's family considers moving his signature guitar production to Solar since they've broken away from Dean. Would make a lot of sense since Ola was affiliated with Randall and Washburn, both companies Dimebag worked with.
I think his voice is fucked up but in a cool way. Some people just sound like shit when they get old. This guy sounds like a dying soul. And that's metal as fuck
I saw these guys last year with Wolves in the throne room and behemoth as my first concert. They had such great energy and are know one of my favorite bands
I love Tomas' smile ([0:25], [0:57], [1:24], etc.) and positive energy, and Adrian's evil grin ([0:34], [1:27]...). Jonas' bass sound is fantastic (e.g. at [1:17]).
Yeah, it's understandable to some point, Tomas Lindberg looks quite old. Summed up with singing for a long time, it can be expected. Nevertheless, it's good to see that old dog still kicking
Maybe this is why Anders Friden of In Flames obviously changed his old typical GBG melodic death false chord style to fry. He is like 50 now and sounds better than ever before live (listen to any live version of the new song Voices for instance)
@@wesleywarsmith1113 yeah u r right, just wanted to stir some shit up. 😆 but unfortunately I'm not a kid anymore. in the 90's, when I was a teeager, the term metalcore was known only among the hardcore punk scene (anybody knows Integrity???) and actually when "Slaughter..." came out not many people were talking about Swedish melodeath or melodeath, at least not as much as in the years to come when the term got general recognition.👍 I think everybody agree that the riffs from songs like Blinded By Fear has been ripped off by countless melodic metalcore acts to write thier own shit
