The atmosphere at any major sporting event in the United States is something else. I went to Daytona in 2008 and won’t forget the feeling of being at that event.
Watching this makes me want to go to the Canadian Superbike races next weekend at Shubie. It’s been too long since I have been. It used to be a huge party and a great time. Safe travels!
I haven't been to a race in Shubenacadie since the 1970's!??? Unfortunately I won't have time this trip to stop but I will pass through NS this weekend on my way west.
great video Jim. I as in Alabama in June , and it was hot then and traffic was thick then also. I'm enjoying your journey keep up the great vids. The Mini Mate and I are headed to Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland in a couple weeks.
It's all cut and ready to sew but my machine does not like the fabric. Will have to wait until next winter now to hopefully get it finished. It's somewhere deep in my storage.
Looks like MotoAmerica definitely got a larger turnout than the Vintage races which were just a couple of weeks after this. Looking forward to this year’s races since I missed out last year. Sorry you got that taste of Alabama traffic. It’s unfortunately a regular occurrence. By the way, that inflatable ‘castle’ is actually a church, best as I recall. Cya on the road!
You are right about it being a church. Heard there's even been a few weddings in it. That hour of crawling was a pain...funny, I went on the interstate ti make time lol.
