This is absolutely crazy, Emilee and I was close when we were younger coming from the same town and going to school together but lost touch due to life pulling in different ways as it tends to do and here years later as im sitting in my Subaru at the trail head of mount Rodgers waiting for light and watching AT videos she comes across my feed haha, two people leagues apart in up bringing and lifes paths ended up deciding to live the same way, but she was always a hippy 😂 hopefully she wont mind me saying that if so sorry Em. Good job on your hike hopefully doing mine 2024, maybe ill see you out there!
Another awesome interview, Al. Thanks Emilee for some insight into your AT thru hike experience. It's been truly awesome watching you guys go from greenhorn AT thru hikers to actual Legends and I truly hope that my adventure next year can, in some ways, compare to your journey and that I meet a couple of awesome people like yall.
