Someone with a 3d printer needs to come up with an external box that will snap into the hole the old RF cable came out of to mount the RCA jacks on to.

I have an Atari Flashback 2 with cartridge port mod, which is essentially a mini version of your mod as it's also A/V.

I can understand some not wanting to do this with an NES or anything around that time, but the 2600....i see nothing wrong..the graphics quality is only going to get better.

Composite video still sucks, but it’s definitely better than the RF you would have to use. Instead of needing an ANCIENT tv to use it, you can use any TV from the 80s-90s to the present to use the Atari 2600.

This video tutorial is pretty much useless if you're zoomed too far out for us to see which wires are going where. All I see is you fast forwarding through the most important parts.

Is there a schematic with symbols so I know what 3 pins are the translator? I have the parts just kinda lost as to what’s what even looking at schematic I’m lost

I had one of those small potable about 5inch tv monitor radio combos, and I wanted to play Nintendo and see Mario on a small screen, but it didn't have the coaxial or ugh antenna hookup, so I opened it up, and used the wire leads to the main antenna, and hooked up that way. It worked. Lol.. but for some reason Mario was now on all the TV's in our house? Lol. Plus, it was a little staticy . Obviously I don't know much about electronics. But I was a curious kid. Oh childhood memories

i have a Heavy 6'er... How can I convert it to Composite? Also, I would love to convert the Power to run on USB.

I did this mod on a 4 switch PAL 1981 rev 6 model. The audio is perfect but the picture is all over the place. The colors are also al over the place. The picture is visible. And idea what can be wrong?

I would prefer an external to not ruin classic console. both looks almost the same.

Easy to do? 10:06 you have problems to quit the box, think about a beginner with a welder trying to do this because you say "easy to do", motherboard burn i´m sure XD

I mean rgb over scart existed when the 2600 came out and came out of the factory with the "next generation" consoles first being the Sega Master System.
