while i never had this system, i grew up with a C64 with atari controllers, and having an atari stick with the extra buttons needed to run the maxi, i can finally enjoy my c64 maxi the way i grew up with it, so im excited and preordered the joystick
When I was in the 3rd grade we lived in the bay area when they test marketed the 1200XL and my Father got us one. He got my Mom Ms Pac-Man as it was her favorite game and I loved it and still do. My personal favorite was Miner 2049er.

I had a ZX80 (kit), VIC20, then 400, then 800XL, then 1040STf and they were all in MINT condition (both the 400 and 800XL professionally modded by me) when I got rid of them. I only recall what I did with the 1040STf and Atari color monitor - I gave it along with its step-down transformer to my next door neighbor while stationed with the USAF in the UK. I'd converted to PCs at that point. Now, of course, I greatly regret getting rid of any of them.

No they do not unfortunately. This is press kit and handed out to people doing media coverage. The packaging that comes with the retail release does not look like this.
