Who doesn't love Cannon Fodder? It's such an ace game and today I booted up the Atari Jaguar version for a play. You know, I thought it was going to suck eggs as I imagined it being tough to control without a mouse. But actually, it was pretty easy and very well designed. First 4 missions shown here and I highly recommend the Jaguar version!!

Nice. I've never seen this version played before. Loving the screams when the guys get shot.

ataristaffroom It's honestly a superb game, expect the lacking mouse to be troublesome but it wasn't.

Lol have they lifted one of those cry’s from dying enemy soldiers, right from when Doomguy dies in doom? It sounds very similar. Some of those sound effects are exclusive to this version, the amiga and snes version didn’t have them.

It isn't at all the same death cry as Doomguy's. Earthworm Jim uses the same voice clip in it's heck level, I think it's just one of those stock screams

Sadly suffers the same critical Gameplay flaw that cripples the Amiga version.. The difficulty spike kicks in, hard, far too early and levels become an absolute rage fest to try and complete. It's also rather bugged in places..

Ah yes, unfortunately at the Moment only in german. I like to make all Reviews in english, but I need someone who can translate. For me this console is disapointing. I hoped for more. The games seem to be good, but the controls are awful.

You know, I never did mind those controls. I first thought I'd hate it with a joypad and not mouse but I shocked myself for actually liking it. lol
