Three piece alignment should be carried with reference to tool pocket in magazine not with spindle.

It will be in pocket when we have removed the ATC gearbox from machine also when no adjustment available in ATC arm

Spindle is rigid so it is important in VMC to align tool with spindle, pot having float so that side slightly misalignment will not affect much.
