I appreciate you guys honesty, typically people don’t even give K-pop a chance and have preset biases on the genre, but I have to say y’all’s critique of Hongjoong’s rap verse was the better ones I’ve heard from someone getting into K-pop. Y’all’s opinions were constructive and had actual value as to why y’all didn’t like it and I respect that. I also wholeheartedly agree that there are songs you might not like from your favorite artist, Ateez is my top group, but there are songs that didn’t hit well for me, but that doesn’t mean I like them any less. Please keep reacting to Ateez! They are genuinely a good group.

So the rapper on Chungha’s song is the one that sings the chorus for Bouncy, his name is Hongjoong (he’s ateez’s leader). The rapper with the cowboy hat in the bar was a different person, his name is Mingi. As for Hongjoong, Chungha asked him to feature on Eenie Meenie as he also has producing credits on the song. He was busy promoting in Japan (as Ateez had just released a Japanese EP called Not Okay) while Chungha was promoting in South Korea so he might not have had time to do more than his verse. But if you want to see more from Hongjoong specifically, then I’d suggest Crazy Form and if you also want to see more of Mingi as well Halazia and Guerrilla would also be good choices to start with. There's a unit song for ATEEZ with just Hongjoong (the rapper you were discussing that is in Chung Ha's song) and Seonghwa (the one in the motorcycle jacket that did the fast rap) that you should definitely react to. The song is called Matz. Hongjoong totally spazzes on it and Seonghwa raps with a totally different vocal tone, cadence and style (though he is only a sub-rapper, and one of the main vocalist for the group). The other main rapper is Mingi-(the cowboy spraying bullets) I highly suggest you react to: Crazy Form--even more action packed than Bouncy Matz Guerrilla Hala Hala Say My Name Halazia
I like this song fr I would recommend Matz which you would hear hongjoon rap more with one other member and even their songs ‘crazy form’, ‘hala hala’ and even BTS’s rapline cyphers part 2,3 and 4
Songs I like from Ateez would be Guerilla, Halazia, The real, Fireworks, Wonderland, Deja-Vu. These are some of my favs also some most popular as they are title tracks. Out of these those Guerilla is probably my top then The Real, then Fireworks. :)
As a Day 1 stan of Ateez, I appreciate your opinions and RESPECTFUL criticism. Not everyone was a fan of his verse and since it was Chungha's first song since she left her last company, their expectations were high and they felt like she should've had this song to herself. With that being said, please ignore those comments. There will always be that group of people that feel like "if I like it, you HAVE to like it" and they don't represent the majority. (this goes for stans of different groups as well)

i respect your honesty and opinions!! A lot of people didn't like Hongjoong's verse but I loved it and I wasn't hating on other people's opinions I respect it. Everybody has different taste so we can agree to disagree. Also I recommend yall to watch "IT's You" by Ateez with only (3 out of 8 members) on the this song because they had sub-unit groups on their recent album release in December.
