LoreTiny here! ATEEZ has a deep and complicated storyline that runs through their MVs and diary entries inside of their physical albums. I’ll try to keep it simple here! ATEEZ’s universe spans across multiple dimensions, universes A to Z. In the Halazia we are in universe Z, otherwise known as Strickland, where emotion, art, music, and dance are prohibited. This world is led by an oppressive government which classifies people into separate groups and trains them to not feel starting in school (see World Episode 1: Movement trailers and Guerrilla MV) ATEEZ is different in every universe, but ultimately they are a group of rebels who are trying to wake up the world and give them the free will to choose. You can hear them crying out for it in Halazia. “Even love has been swallowed up when waves are made here in this place. This movement that will last forever” “I can hear the whispers, the beginnings of a deep echo, the voice that will overturn the world.” “If one wish could be realized, would you grant me the light? For hot passion instead of cold despair. I want to feel” The word Halazia is a made up word in ATEEZ’s universe, but most LoreTiny agree it roughly means, to bring the light that will awaken our hearts. HALA, from their song and MV HALA HALA (Hearts Awakened Live Alive) the “scarecrow” or effigy they burned in this MV is the outfit ATEEZ wore in the HALA HALA music video. ZIA, a Latin word for light or splendor. Turned out longer than expected but ATEEZ’s story is so rich and I hope you join us on this voyage! I love your videos and I can’t wait to see more!

OMG YES!! You are so right about Ateez being passionate about their music. It isn't just vocals, rapping or dancing to them. It's true art, and Ateez's creative expression and stage presence is like no other kpop group I've ever seen (and I've been a kpop fan for about 15 years). It's always like I'm watching a musical or theater troupe put on a fantastic show. This Halazia music video ties heavily into the groups lore for example. They're such a gem in kpop. I was hoping you'd react to more Ateez and feel so happy! Definitely recommend you react to some other tracks. They have a wide variety of genres. If you enjoy the more energetic tracks, try Bouncy, Hala Hala, Crazy Form or Fireworks! 🎉 If you want RnB vibes, try IT's You or Mist (no music video for Mist, but there are performances and lyric videos). For more rap focused songs, try To The Beat or MATZ. If you want a happy, upbeat track, try Wave or Eternal Sunshine! For an emotional song, try Everything or Youth! XG is my ult girl group and Ateez is my ult group overall, so itd be hella cool if a reactor loved both of them a ton too LOL.

2:11 "Switch the beat one more time" will always, always, always get ATEEZ saying "bet" in response. I can count on one hand the number of songs in their 100-ish discography that have the same beat and style throughout. They are _masters_ of the beat switch and making it seamless between song sections. It's one of the production things I adore about them. Highly recommend Guerrilla, Bouncy, and Crazy Form to catch up to their current era. Glad you're enjoying them!

They have a previous track called HALA HALA, which stands for Hearts Awakened, Live Alive. Here they’re trying to restore order and passion to the people. Their world was basically turned on its head. Gravity was lost. The people were gray and lifeless. Art and music was banned. The people in white are Watchers/wardens. Halazia: HALA: hearts awakened, live alive. Zia means light. Be the light of Halazia: shine, show yourself and your talents.

7:42 I’m so glad finally someone picked up on this! To me ATEEZ has a soul. It’s got so much energy put into it I had the same reaction. Their music has a story and the lore is very similar to what we’re experiencing in the world now. Some people might find ATEEZ music as “too much” but for people who are trying to numb themselves from the crazy things going around, it’s a call to FEEL your emotions and move forward.

This is No 2 in my list of fav Ateez title tracks (1st - Answer, 3rd - Guerrilla) Got to watch this performed live in 2023 when it was included in the setlist of the Asia/Latam leg of the Break The Wall tour. I got into the concert venue just 10 min b4 the show started cos of our niece's work schedule. It was our first kpop concert for my sis & I and at first we were rather underwhelmed by the crowd singing sweetly along to the Ateez tracks. Turned to each other and said how cute, this reminds us of the kids in our school choirs 😂 and then the concert opened with HALAZIA and all hell broke loose. The screamsinging that everyone did. We had the best time! My voice was hoarse for 5 days after. Ateez is so good at what they do. Every kpop fan should aspire to go to an Ateez concert 😅

THIS SONG IS EPIC 💕

The first time you mentioned the beat switch, I was chuckling like just buckle up and enjoy the ride 😂 each switch just enhances the vocals or rap of each part so I've become a big fan of how just one of their songs takes you to a hundred different places! Guerilla next? Or theres Hala Hala, The Real, Wonderland and Answer that are all pretty iconic each in their own way too... Less than a week until they perform at Coachella and after seeing some clips from their world tour that kicked off in Jan, I think its going to be a crazy cool stage! Cos these guys dance amazingly but they do not mess around when it comes to live vocals, I'm ready for Jongho (their youngest member, main vocalist) to belt out his high notes to perfection 👌

I love ATEEZ, they have struggled from their beginning to get to where they are today. Their songs tell their story, I love that. No matter how hard they worked, they had resistance. Halazia is a great song with a message. Message is, they are going to keep doing music as they have and will not be made to change. So much respect for our Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and our baby with the highest voice Jongho. They are Pirates! There is not one song of theirs that I don't like, that is talent!
