Mingi said he thinks the new song is going to be Atiny's favorite and that it's crazy. And HJ keeps teasing how insane this year is going to be. I'M NOT READY. The bracelet is a throwback to him picking up the same bracelet in Inception!
@@felix.never.quacks Where? ATEEZ concept it pirates, and the visuals have been very unique - pirate king, say my name, guerilla, halazia etc are all very different. I haven't noticed any similarities with the fake love visuals, wasnt that just like lots of flowers and stuff?? and burning room? Fake love never had any dystopian type stuff in the concept.
There's a line in the lyrics about the "little bluebird that lost it's voice" and there's a belief in the Koreans of old that the bluebird is a harbinger of hopeful news. So it makes sense that the bluebird is singing at the end of the MV symbolizing the spread of hopeful news which also can be tied in to the meaning of Halazia/ "hearts awakened, live alive, be the light" being interpreted as hope also.
Short fact: Seonghwa in the epilogue got the ring with "befree" on it. And I don't remember where but i believe in inception he had the same exact ring with "befree" on it, obviously giving the story (their song "the ring" probably also has to do something with Seonghwas story but I'm not sure). Yeosang was chained up to the roof and his story is basically him not getting any freedom (see the similarities?). EDIT; Jongho is surrounded by fire in halazia. In inception he's also surrounded by fire. I feel like inception is an important music video to watch and connect the dots with halazia.
It's a given with ATEEZ that they outdo themselves every SINGLE time...and knowing what mingi told us in an interview i can't wait what their next cb has for us ... I'm sure it's gonna be epic! ATEEZ ARE ALWAYS SLAY FR
FUN FACT! ateez' mvs are based off ONE storyline (yes, it's been 5 years since they debuted and the story is still on going) If you want to know the whole story, you'd have to watch their whole discography because the story is spread through different medias. MVs, trailers, stage properties, concerts (the LEDs, secret messages, bside performances, etc), albums (in fboth form of pictures and text), sometimes you'd find the story in variety an/or reality shows!! Read their lyrics and you'll know they've been telling you the same continuous story, it's so crazy how one song and another have it's own color and yet they make the same big picture at the end!!
@@somerandomharrypotterfan I can’t wait until tomorrow to go to their concert. I’m SOOOO excited for it. I can’t believe I’m going to their concert😱😵🤯.
I love ATEEZ lore! The "Be Free" bracelet Seonghwa found in the epilogue is the same one he found in the ATEEZ Diary film for their Fever series and he also has it in their Inception MV if I'm remembering correctly!
Wow. It's so amazing how film can really portray such things. This story hits harder to me since I've been feeling depressed (im starting to lose emotions) and I badly want to feel again. It's like I'm fighting with them too. Thank you by the way for dissecting this, it made much more sense and much easy to digest.
fun fact: the floating orb thingy was present at all of their concerts! they had like a huge moon just hanging above the extended stage and we were all so confused why it was there,, it made so much more sense once the MV came out tho hahah!! also, the albums for this era come with a little plastic blue feather, alluding to the bird in the MV!
Did anyone cry(tear up) when the first time watched Halazia MV like me?! I'm baby Atiny ,So it's impossible to getting such emotional because I don't have yet such big emotional bond with group,so it was strange for me to cry/getting emotional weaker..I don't know maybe the reason is the lyrics (last few years I don't feel anything like most of people 💔)... sorry for my English btw ✌️
Most of Ateez's song especially their bsides...always makes Atinys cry eventhough they just started get to know them...I watched many reactors cry in Turbulance and some of their bsides... songs...They know nothing too abt the group...they just heard afew songs by them...Maybe the lyrics is very deep...thats why...Im not shock if you cry in Halazia...because their instrumental sound sad...is like someone who has lost hope.
@@noriyhan6562 "is like someone who has lost hope"...wow I'm definitely feeling it 🥺 p.s: and I'm I cry at the part where San trying pulldown this stone ball thing 🤷🏻♀️
i didn't, but i did feel a bit emotional bc of how epic halazia is. like ,, from the mv to the song to the continuation of lore.. like its just so good omg. the last time i felt that w an ateez song was answer (and inception but moreso with answer bc it's also so beautiful)
FINALLY! Thank you for breaking this down, I was so curious about the mv and how it’s built up etc. So yeah huge thanks for this, it’s always really interesting to hear your insights and interpretation. It’s also hella interest to know how to tell a story using the music and the video, i’m a sucker for cool transitions and match cuts :)
Omg I almost lost hope that you weren’t going to react to this… so glad that you did cos I really like the way that you not only breakdown the techniques of editing but also analyze the story telling aspects. Thank you and keep being awesome ❤
The sound when Seonghwa sees the witness then it dissappearing is my fav part of my whole trailer ...it just leaves me with my jaw dropped fr in the end
Ateez storyline is crazy genius, the song/mv both is always fantastic👌🏻 ateez and kq they're always give us chills and make us curious what's the next🖤 I really enjoy your reaction and I'm so appreciate that you like ateez absolutely for their story♥︎ you're not only explaining about the fact of the mvs but you learn abt their story too.. you really like the real atiny who has joining their journey from the start☺ See you again in the next comeback of ateez mvs💜
Ahhh I’m so glad that u reached to halazia! I personally (aside from the fact that ateez is my all time favorite group, so I’m saying this as an un-biased opinion as well) think that ateez has some of the best storytelling and movie like mv’s out there in K-pop. Like they go HARD on the storytelling man 😭😭⭐️⭐️
ATEEZ IS MY FAVORITE K-POP GROUP! I literally picked my bias when I watched this! I LOVE all of the group members BUT Yeosang is my bias! He looks AMAZING in this. PLUS his DEEP voice in this! This has got to be my favorite music video/song from them but I love all their music/videos. The choreo in this is *chefs kiss*
This floating, or 'zero-gravity,' effect they've created really sells the no-emotion feel. It could represent just existing in a space and not being tethered to something emotionally. So the shot later in the music video where they're pulling the floating sphere back down could represent them joining the rebellion and grounding themselves. (My theory)
Thanks for this Jordan--the explanation of how the video enhances the story telling was so interesting! I know this probably took a lot of your time to make--thank you so much! I'm glad you mentioned subscribing because I thought I had but was wrong,, so I subbed. Atiny, please consider showing Jordan your appreciation by subscribing--he does such a fantastic job.
If you noticed, after that ball fell on San, there is an empty place and a blue bird appeared. So it seems like San sacrifised himself, that is his role in their lore... and that bird of hope appeared...
After watching your reaction videos my view on music videos has changed. I now love sitting for hours and watching different music videos. I find it interesting to watch how different editor does editing, i also try to understand the context of the video etc. But something that made me chocked is that i haven’t found a video of you reacting to PIXY yet. As someone who loves PIXY my jaw dropped when i saw their music videos for the first time. I still get chocked sometimes. Their music videos is on another level in my opinion. I definitely hope i can get your reaction to them in the future🙏🏻
No matter how many times I watch it , I always get goosebumps. Thank you for reacting to Halazia and the other videos, and breaking down what makes them so awesome. Hearing your criticisms are also quite insightful! Also the entire fandom can relate when you're sitting there speechless with your jaw on the floor lol.
Hello, I wanted to tell you that the sound of the bells that are heard comes from an ancient Korean legend, where a Buddhist temple was left under water due to a flood, that temple had a huge bell that filled hearts and hearts with longing and hope. It is believed that only good-hearted people, if they stay quietly by the lake, which really exists, you can hear the bells. The story is really beautiful and I think they allude to that. That sound of the bells begins to ring when they reveal themselves and want to recover their emotions, the bells give them hope, it is symbolic, a hug from Argentina.
I was really excited for this reaction 😊 This song brought me into K-Pop. You´re content is so interesting, i really love it! Keep going 🥰 Hope we will see a reaction on The Sound by Stray Kids 😀
I had just found SKZ in November, and this song brought me to Ateez. Now a proud StayTiny, these 2 groups of absolutely fantastic human beings are so important to me!!
Always love your takes on ATEEZ insane MV's. Also as someone in video editing it's always so cool learning new things through you and one of my favourite groups. Keep being amazing!
Yunho was in the cromer/hourglass that Halateez and Ateez use to time and inter dimension travel. If you’ve never reacted to Answer-the room they are dancing in is from that MV when Halateez and Ateez make a pact but the MV ends with the masked android and a destroyed dining room (we know from answer Kingdom stage there was a fight there).
WOO FINALLY! I was hoping you'd release this soon...I like the transition right before Hongjoong raps, the arm movement down and then when Hongjoong comes in, he's in an "underground" setting. Also, the last dance break almost feels like a prayer or ritualistic, like they are summoning something or praying for something? I dunno, just my take. I feel like the watchers in white are maybe the gods of the world.
the be free ring already played a role once. In the inception era, there was a clip of Hongjoong standing in the dark and the next scene is Seonghwa having that ring that says "be free". When i first watched the epilouge, i GASPED
When you said the thing about dancing against a regime all I could picture was Kai’s randomly dancing to Monster in the Lucky One MV as peoples heads exploded lol😂
The bird ties into the lyric in the song, “little bluebird has lost it’s voice.” There is also another song on the spin-off from the witness Ep called Bluebird. I haven’t listened to it since it came out so I don’t remember perfectly but I think it might just be a short instrumental song. There is also another famous song (which is not coming to mind right now) that has the lyric, “bluebird of happiness.” So maybe the bluebird that lost it’s voice represents happiness?
I was almost hopeless you're not gonna react to it anymore 😭 thank you very much but i do hope next time just don't do polls anymoreee. make the reactions at your own pace and likeness. Again i really like how accurate you know the gist of the storyline and break it down for the viewers to understand it more. Also the analysis on the editing!
Honestly Jordan I was waiting for your reaction to Halazia ever since It was released ! I absolutely love your analysis and I've been watching your videos even before halazia and halazia made me a Atiny at the drop of a heartbeat like I can't even tell you how invested I am in ateez right now because not are they talented performers , great singers and Dancers but the storyline they have have going on is just insane !! I think soooo much thought goes into every single one of their songs and videos like it's nuts !❤️❤️❤️
I love how you analyse the videos you watch! It's really engaging to listen to your insights of scenes and the breakdowns of editing techniques that are used.
Ahhhh I’ve been hoping you would watch this!!! I knew you took a break in January so I was anxiously awaiting for when this would drop. Didn’t disappoint!! Love your breakdowns as always!
FINALLY !!so glad you reacted to ateez halazia and I really stan them for their story line and it is so fun to see you really explaining and breaking it down😁😁
Thank you. Just thanks. You really did justice to ateez and their hard work. And you just made my day, I'm so proud of them. I was battling with some post-concert depression, but now I'm enthusiastic again. Thank you. Looking forward to your commentary for the next song, it will be epic, I'm sure ❤️
