I believe I read that when they first debuted, Mingi liked to rap in a certain way because he felt it sounded better/sounded cool. However, since the Fever era, he's started to branch out more, and you can really hear now. It seems he feels more comfortable experimenting with his style (you hear it a lot on the later Fever albums/The World Ep. 1). As always, thanks for reacting to Ateez!
Re all the Hong Joong busking/solos, he's done them all as their own things, and they're arranged differently than in the busking performance, which is kinda amazing. They're worth checking out on the ATEEZ channel. His Numb, for instance, is very different in the recorded versions. Maddox is the BOMB. I really want more people to know about him. He's got range, he's got control and is very clearly _trained_. I love the friendship between Maddox and Hong Joong, too, they are comfortable together. Maddox sang Adele's 'Easy on Me' on the European tour. Go see! He's also done some covers that are incredible (Watermelon Sugar, etc.). It's fun to see all these songs! Thanks!
Don’t ask me why but Ateez’s summer songs like “Wave” and “Blue summer” makes me cry. Turbulence is my SOTY22 , no matter how many times I listen to the song, I get goosebumps all of my body. And then, I love more “Good Lil boy” performed during the concerts, the one they did during the second day in Madrid is still one of my favourite Hongjoong+Mingi performance.
You definitely need to know Maddox's songs. He's a producer/songwriter who makes amazings musics for Ateez, but he's a wonderful solo singer of KQ Entertainment (same company as Ateez).
Regarding the New World part, I think perhaps if you listened to the recent album as a whole, it will make sense why the sound is like this. I personally think it's because it's a new era and this new album is so experimental and follow their lore which is why their new album is so shocking. It's pretty cohesive imo when you follow album listing order and when you get to "New World" it feels like you're in a movie after a long heavy fight and finally found relief. And you're def right about listening to it with headphones. The sound they recorded The world ep 1 movement album is to be appreciated with headphones, like Dolby 4k type of sound. "New World" would sound even grander within a stadium or arena and is meant to performed live like they've done in their current Break the Wall Tour concert. Thank you for reacting to many of their B-sides. I see you groove a lot with their softer and sentimental B-sides, which are amazing too!
oh wait, i came and binge watched all your reaction videos again and just realized some of the lyrics videos switched up some of the members' parts, like in this video good lil boy for example, yunho's part was switched to san, san's to woo, seonghwa's to yunho, etc etc there are quite a lot of mistakes in the lyrics videos i must say but thank you for your loving ateez, thank you for appreciating ateez! i really enjoy watching all your videos
Mingi has a natural deep voice even when he talks he’s not a singer-rapper like hongjoong or hwa he’s just a rapper so it’s different for him he tends to lean to the deeper vocal side like Felix of stray kids think on that.
About kpop and bands, the channel It's Live make artists perform with a band (I know you already reacted to the It's Live perfs of ateez) and it sometimes scratches an itch I never knew existed (ex. for Glitch by Kwon Eunbi, the band was so great) Edit: Oh and you talked about reacting to Hongjoong's busking videos, could you include his performance of All About You with Maddox please? Maddox is the one you hear in the chorus of the studio version of the song It's always a pleasure to watch your videos
I am watching the Maddox & Hongjoong part first so that I don't keep asking you to react to it.... lol. I'm super excited. HJ does some of the best covers always adding his own flare and raps. He's such a unique all-around artist. Fun fact, Hongjoong actually looks up to Prince and enjoys Linkin Park; he really likes rock music so his playlist was no surprise. Maddox has golden vocals.

Maddox is responsible for like 80% of harmonies and layered vocals in ATEEZ's discography! i love listening to "hidden vocals ver." of their songs and seeing how insanely good he is

Hi, I would like to ask if you can get CeeCee to react to KQ Fellaz 2 Industry Baby, Geek, and Tricky House dance practice . Which is basically a current trainee group under KQ Entertainment. I believe they're some strong dancers but I'd like to hear what CeeCee has to say about them. But if you can't get her it'll still be nice to get anyone else expert opinion of them as well.

Just want to say that some of these are inaccurate. When you know the members’ voices well enough, you can tell. They especially love to confuse Woo and san or Hwa and yunho etc.
I can’t tell you how much it irks me when people make color coded lyric videos and then get the members wrong. And then leave. It. Up. Unfixed. 🫠 sorry just venting.
