At that time they did the challenge of creating the choreo for 2nd verse in 24 hrs if I’m not wrong. And that just show how talented they were back then, and they’re just getting better and better. Yunho Mingi and Hongjoong were responsible for the choreo of the second half....and they all stayed up all night to prepare for this cover. ( I think it is the first episode of codename is ATEEZ, I can be wrong )

If you want to know more about the beginning of this growl cover you can watch ateez's pre-debut show called Code name Ateez. So some dance expert and top choreographer (like lia kim) were amazed by ateez's talent after watching the kq fellaz perf, so they gave ateez a mission to choose 1 song and make their own choreography for it, and they chose growl. Hongjoong, yunho and mingi made the choreo in the 2nd verse. It's also the first time ateez were introduced to their debut song Pirate King. You can see the recording process of pirate king. They also got mission to make their own choreo for pirate king. They looked very young and cute there, but they really impressed me with their hardwork, non-stop training, and especially their teamwork. And also their relationship with the producer and dance teacher is also heartwarming

tbh their before debut cover makes me emotional. you can clearly see how smoll and cute they were. but as the members said, san was really soooo cute ㅠㅠ they always say San is the member who changed the most and actually you can clearly see how he improved so much but most importantly how he became so confident. he was like a small kitten who tried to growl but current san is a real lion king who growls and shakes us. im so proud of him and his team

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this. But if you check out Code Name ATEEZ you’ll see the boys creating their choreo for the second verse. I think it’s on kq channels. So maybe you can react on YT. If you have time. It’s says a lot that you feel this way with YunHo & WooYoung’s choreo. 🥰🥰 I wish we’d get more YunHo/WooYoung choreo in future projects. 1. They did a cover for Growl in 2020 kcon with their own live vocals (Seonghwa was absent due to injury although he did attend to watch them, jongho was sitting aside due to injury but still in the performance) 2. ateez covers are always the best. i hope you can react to these covers as well! they’re one of my most favs! growl by exo (they actually performed it) on by bts gang by rain (it’s a cover san didn’t get any lines but went viral with his fancam so i strongly recommend watching his fancam as well!) i need you by bts boy in luv by bts none of these are immortal songs so dw! it would be amazing if you guys do a ateez cover reaction live when you can hahaha also i cant wait for relay dance series for ateez! their relay dances are the funniest hahaha
