This is such a MASSIVE glowup compared to their debut, Adore U. Like the budget, styling, editing. Man I’m feeling so nostalgic thinking about the 7 years I’ve spent following them and seeing their growth.

I just wanna add it here, the director mentioned that the last bit where there was a lot of chaos and sparks and fireworks was not cgi and they really danced in that burnin ass set with all the popping around them

God-tier Rigend Film! I always wonder how they even make their story board. One thing I love about the editing of this MV - is that the members (all 13 of them) had their fair share of screen time. What kind of brain do you have to even plan that out?

Usually we, fans, just focus on the members, not the editing but after watching your video, I started seeing things that I haven’t noticed before even though I’ve watch it more than 10 times. Honestly this M/V was really good. The editing was on point! At some points *ex: triangle transition* it had the comic style that was also in the Icy M/V so i found this pretty cool as a Midzy

10 seconds into the 'HOT' M/V and my mind was already blown. Minghao's scene with the beatboxing had me ON THE FLOOR. I knew there was going to be A LOT of editing tidbits.

rigend films has worked for other several seventeen music videos too. i highly recommend "fear" and "fallin' flower", two completely different vibes but are both insane with the visuals and editing

I love all of Rigend Film’s mv's with svt. Also, the director of HOT said that Rigend Film doesnt have an editor, she said that she’s done all the editing of their work, so if the video doesn’t have editor credits then it means she edited it herself. she’s so talented, i wonder if youve followed her on ig already.

I know you are an editor, and probably wouldn't be that interested in it, but if you check out the choreography dance practices to their music, you really see how perfectly they dance and it in itself is incredibly impressive to see. SEVENTEEN are after all called the kings of synchronization!

when jordan said it was gonna take him 45 mins to get through the video i felt that cuz it took me 45 mins to get through it- it took me 10 mins to get past the 1 min mark- BUT you should definitely check out more of SVT, they are INCREDIBLE

take this with a grain of salt. i work in the kpop industry and is working with a former employee of pledis. They say that pledis put their everything to this project to show that seventeen is poppin even after their contract renewal. even the filming process took about a week insted of the usual 2 days. and the effort shows!!

This is such a good reaction! Thank you for pointing out the details that we totally missed! You are truly a pro! SEVENTEEN was supposed to end their contract yesterday as they celebrate their 7th year anniversary but they renewed their contracts as early as last year. This makes the comeback more meaningful to them as it signifies new beginning at their supposed to be, end. As a fan, I am also very surprised and impressed as they came from a company nearing to bankruptcy but they were able to save it through their self-produced performance and music. Yup, they take part and are in control of the things they present to the people. If you look back and watch their old music videos, like "Adore U", you can really tell that this is such a hugeeeeeee glowup in terms of the set, the editing, etc. I feel so proud even more. They really worked hard for this comeback so I hope a lot of peoplelike you and me can disccover and appreciate these performers. Seventeen are truly artists.

I usually listen to songs, not watching the music video as much, but to be honest this is the first one I like the MV way more than the song itself (even the song on sportify this in my most-played list, just to add to how much I love this one)
