ATEEZ 'The Real' MV Reaction! ATEEZ IS LIT! 

When they say "This is the style" they speak in Satoori (regional Korean dialects) and use 4 different ones in the song. Often when coming to Seoul people are discouraged to use their dialect so it is a strong statement.

5:00 the lyrics are actually correct and a reference to an old korean idiom! 'the more rice (the plant) ripens, the lower it bends its head' is a translation of the idiom, and in the rap, mingi (the rapper) says that 'bend over as you mature / the ramen won't get soggy'. he puts more of a modern twist on rice, using ramen instead. in korean, to bend over is 불다 (bulda), and to become soggy/swell is 붇다 (butda) which are commonly misspelt. i assume mingi uses 붇다 (to become soggy) to fit better with the rhyme, and also for comedy :)

2 amazing and fun things about this song for you to know: 1. Every time one of them is saying "this is what style is" it is in the dialect of the region their from, all different slang 2. In live performances when they get to the dance break they change it every time, different members jump into the circle, they do different moves and styles, it's so cool

Am sure Atiny's can correct me if i am wrong but the Ramen line is basically a metaphor. If you follow the ways of being "real" as portrayed in the song and MV (humility, kindness, etc), your life (the ramen) wont feel drowned and become soggy from carrying all the unnecessary burdens that make things less worthwhile.......or something like that

The koreans greet each other with a bend down bow and Mingi’s rap means take your time and bow down properly, the ramen won’t get soggy that quickly.
