Just bought this trilogy with your link thanks for all you do!! I'm hooked on the Atelier games now...lol. Got the Mysterious trilogy, Ryza 1 & 2, and preordered Sophie 2. Just need a few more and ill have the complete Atelier switch library physically. Wooohoo
@@SuperPokeTuber Yeah, the price may look kind of expensive, but all games are on one 32 GB cart, and all the DLC as well. The DLC is usually the most expensive aspect of the games, and you get all of it, plus some extras.
🍶 couldn't find the potion emoji but since this is an Jrpg. Added the Sake emoji instead. Awesome review!!! Although not really an atelier fan. Would want to get Ryze 1+2 one day on sale
Incredibly accurate and fair review. I personally love Sophie the most, but ofc it doesn't look very good graphically. Then again, most people who are into the franchise arent sticklers for graphics.
3:22 tbh we don't really play for the battle systems, it's more for the slice of slife, collecting and crafting, at least for me :D the battles do their job I guess
Great review again I only just got into the atelier series plays ryza 1 loved it bought ryza 2 loved it more Bough the dusk trilogy Didn’t like ayesha loved logy and escha now playing shallie Looking forward to this one to be delivered which they put English on the first trilogy Thanks again for great review Jordan 🧪🧪🧪🧪🧪
Potion 🧪! More atelizer games? Yes please! When they get to 150 games in the series, maybe they can do an atelizer rap like the pokemon rap. Then you can do sing along on youtube 😁
Is there really 13 of them. For the switch. Dang I thought I was almost done collecting them. I got the two trilogy collection & Then Atelier Sophie 1&2 & The 3 Atelier Ryza. So which am I missing. Wait I forgot I order Atelier Marie. So what am I missing?
@@SwitchWatch Thanks I appreciate it. I ordered Nights of Azure 2,white day, atelier Marie, fatal frame mask of the lunar and lastly Baten Kaitos 1&2. Oh and Mugen Souls and Mugen Souls Z collector edition. So thanks. Your videos always help..
Thank the lord above that not only is there a physical version, but ALL of the games are actually on the cartridge. No split catridges, no DL codes. Definitely worth the 90 bones for me. The premium edition looks nice, but man, I have to stop myself somewhere edit: also, *potion emoji*
I'm nervous about watching this. I have it preordered, but I'm curious if we'll ever see the original three physically. They want $90 for them in the eshop. It's not real if it's not physical.
What do you mean, "when the servers get shut off, say goodbye". The games don't magically disappear off your system just because they don't sell them on the store 20 years from now.
@@SwitchWatch i am a huge fan of this series but this needs to be said, the games all have a wonderful story and characters and no real sexual anything and here in America we still wanted it censored for no real reason but if you get any western release they took out some camera functions and again there is nothing sexual going on and it is sad so import people, listen to this channel they have good taste I love physical copy too but what can you do anyway great job you'll.
Man, I want the physical version, but the codes for the extra stuff won't even work on an NA Switch, which sucks. But I'm curious, do owners of the Lydie and Suelle game get their physical versions upgraded via update to the DX version? Cause the eshop doesn't show the original game anymore, jis t the DX. Though my wishlist still has the season pass lol
Hey as far as I’m aware there’s no codes needed for the physical version. It’s all already on the cartridge. And I’m not 100% on Lydie and Suelle although my save data from the original didn’t cross over so I doubt they are compatible
How does Firis run on the switch? It was very rough on vita! Also does it looks washed out like Lydie and Suelle on the switch? Or more like Ryza and Lulua?
Preordered this one since I've played all the atelier games starting from Rorona except for these three. But how are the visuals? Is it like Ryza on Switch or do the visuals suffer like low framerate, washed out colours, etc?
They’re not as beautiful as Ryza. Environments are more basic, but character models are great. Performance is mostly fine. Some small issues here and there. Lydie Suelle is the most obvious, but I’d say it’s fine
@@SwitchWatch Thanks, I was expecting the graphics to be on par with the dusk series at least, but the original Lydie and Suelle looked much worse compared to it
Would probably get the last 2 eventually since I already plat the first game back on the Vita. But I wonder if theres still frame issues with the last of the trilogy.
Rorona / Totori / Meruru Ayesha / Escha Logy / Shallie Sophie / Firis / Lydie Suelle Lulua Ryza 1 / Ryza 2 Seems like 12 games to me. Unless you include the spinoff town management simulation Nelke.
@@SwitchWatch when you catch up on the community spotlight(not rushing you), I got the spin off town management simulation nelke game to show off, FYI. It was like 21.00 USD
Probably too big for the expense in Europe and US. Together the games are 22GB which means they need to use the highest cart available which is rather expensive. Thankfully Asia are happy to take more risks.
Mostly down to RU-vid. Since we focus on the latest releases, if we do a game that’s old it can negatively affect the channel. RU-vid is just very picky and we would rather not risk it
@@SwitchWatch Oh that’s a bummer. :( I couldn’t enjoy Lydie and Suelle on Switch because of frame rate and pacing issues. Sad to hear, that the DX version hasn’t been improved. Thanks for your answer.
🧪 Awesome, couldn't wait for this review, so glad this got a release. Now I just need to grab Ryza 2 and I'm hoping Arland might get a release one day.
@@SwitchWatch You’re good. The community around this channel appreciates your humor. We know you’re not serious. I dare say, even the Polish portion of the community.
Have you noticed the downgrade on these DX games towards the textures or environment like the grass and trees that are basically either gone or look like a little kid drew them, compared to the original games on PS3, the port looks bad in comparison which is very disappointing, or am I wrong? You should look at some of the screenshots online.
the atelier dusk trilogy is still my favorite 3d atelier arc, the battle system in mysterious is such a step back from then.. also prefer more the melancholic atmosphere of dusk and their storylines/characters.. tho i love all gust games^^
God i tried so many atelier games and man, they're REAAALLLLY bad in terms of characters and story. Like, i felt insulted. Will never play any atelier game ever again and this trilogy is a ripoff.
Will they stop making girls the hero woman don't even play game plus I don't like playing as a girl 1 or 2 games fine I'm not buying these game girl give a he'll about saving anybody stop gay developers
It was lydie and suelle that got me into the atelier series. I really want to play the other ones in the series. I guess I’m gonna have to wait a while for this one though 🧪
Was excited for this one :D 🧪 So how does Lydie & Suelle now run? I'd hoped you were going to mention it, the original release wasn't particularly smooth.
Thanks for this review! This channel has single handled got me into the Atelier series and I'm very excited to pick up this trilogy. I'm hoping Ryza 1+2 plus whatever the 3rd game in the Secret trilogy is will get a triple pack too because as you said the Atelier games really hold their value and those games are so expensive to get individually. 🧪
I finished Atelier Ryza 2 earlier this year ( my first Atelier game ) and liked it. Wasn't blown away or anything, but it was a nice and pleasant 40 hours or so of JRPG-goodness. Would you say these are on par or not as good as Atelier Ryza 2? I'm hesitant to go backwards in the series as there's QoL changes in the newer games that the older ones don't have. 🧪
Just bought the Atelier mysterious and dusk Trilogy from Play Asia and used your code guys. Thank you so much! I'm happy to get the games physically and play them here over in Germany 🧪
Not exactly sure if these are the right emojis but throwing both of 'em in for good measure ⚗️🧪Anyway, I can't afford it yet but I'll definitely pick up the physical when I can -- I have the Dusk trilogy physical and having all 3 Dusk games on cart is phenomenal. I want to own the Mysterious games physically as well -- which means I'll have to hold out and it'll be a while until I get to play the games. Gonna be worth the wait. The Switch is an absolute beast of a system for these games.
I never really got into the series so I’ll probably pass on these (or at least just pick up one of them if I decide to jump in), but I can definitely see fans of the series or jrpgs in general enjoying them. Thanks for the video. 🧪 (closest I could get to a potion emoji on this phone).
