I’m in so cal and was gonna ask where you normally get your scion wood from to purchase and graft onto mine. I guess I’ll get back at you early spring. Lol I have a cherimoya knight and Chaffey. Bought African pride atemoya this late summer and that’s the only one I have in container. They offered bradley and lindstrom atemoya, el bumpo, fino de jete but I’m running out of room with this addiction of ours so rather multigraft mine. Lol

Which one is your favorite ? I have Dr White cherimoya and Atemoya AP 1. I grafted my Atemoya and booth to my cherimoya

Pierce is delicious! I am having a hard time growing Fino, the tree grow very slow compared to other in the garden and the fruit are very small. I do let the cherimoyas soft like Atemoya. My kids like to be able to scoops it out with a spoon.

👋my favorite is AP. My older AP is really good! I got AP2 from Magnolia nursery in Anaheim. Ask for AP with larger fruit. If u purchase a 15 gallons it probably have fruit and you can see what it look like. Use your seedlings for grafting. They grow very quickly.

@@GQsGarden what's your description for ap2? So many people said they prefer ap2 over ap1. I do want bigger fruits and less seeds lol.

AP2 is chewier and bigger but I still think AP1 flavor is better.

Hi, I don’t have any for sale.

It's only my second year growing other varieties of Atemoyas so I can't compare. My mature African Pride I don't hand pollinate however my younger African Pride doesn't produce as many flowers , so I still hand pollinate it for a good crop. Plus the shape of the fruit will be more uniform and pretty if you hand pollinate it.

African Pride 1 is my first choice. My 8 yrs old is very consistent in flavors and textures . Page and Lisa have a raspberry flavor but not ver chewy. Red Gefner is not very flavorful… just sooo. My green Gefner will be ready in a few weeks so will see how that tastes. My children however loves honey heart and Pierce cherimoya.

Vietnamese Cherimoya from what I read is also known as Dr. White. I picked up from Lowe’s with label Vietnamese Cherimoya ? 😂

Atemoya and cherimoya season is Nov. -May I don’t have any more seeds.

Booth is very good this year. Firm and a little chewy but very sweet like all cherimoya. I have to say better than honey hart or Vietnamese.

Hi! My favorite is African Pride Atemoya. My kids however like Honey Heart and Pierce cherimoya.

@@SiDung-qg7rn 🤣 10 minutes ago I just chased a baby possum away from my cherimoya tree. He chooses the biggest cherimoya a few nights ago and just came back for more. All I can do is pick the fruit before he does 😆. I will probably end up getting possum’s trap. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
