Welcome to my little Southern California garden! My name is GQ and I love tropical fruit! I have over 100+ fruit trees in the garden. About 80% are in the ground and the rest are in containers. Some of my collections includes 12+ varieties of annona, 4 varieties of wax apple, 3 varieties of persimmon, two varieties of star fruits, 2 varieties of sapodilla, 4 varieties of dragon fruits, 4 varieties of passion fruit, longan, June plum, cherry of rio grande etc....I hope to create a tropical garden that grows fruit all year round. Come learn and grow with me.

Are you successful for pruning late Summer. What was the results? I am now the first week of Autumn. In NZ. Most of my fruits set fallen off the tree after few weeks. I wanna start over by prune them Should I do so?
My 10 years cherimoya flowers a lot this year but after hands pollinated the fruits performed l. After a few weeks later most of them fallen.😢😢😢 What went wrong?
Did you have to prune or chop the tree down lower to promote lower branch growth for growing in a pot? Or did you just let it grow and do some pruning but nothing serious?
Hello, I am actually looking for fresh leaves from this specific plant and the fruits. A friend of mine is currently fighting cancer and I would like to purchase as much as I can for her to try. I'm willing to pay cost of shipping and everything from anyone who is willing to send me leaves and fruits. I am located in southern california as well
Beautiful cluster of red jambus. I watched your past year videos and enjoyed them, especially about your cherimoyas. How do protect them fro rats and possums when they are close to mature or from birds when they’re just starting out?
Mine looks like your black diamond. It was already here when I moved in so I don't know what its supposed to be. It tastes sweet to me, no seeds, better than any i've tasted before. I've never had one that has a strong sugar sweet taste yet so I don't know how to compare. But I love sugarcane so now I might have to get the Perfume Jumo one.
I wish youtube allows us to share pictures in comment section. My what I thought was Sugar Apple from seed is I think Cherimoya and now about 5 years old in container. It is about 6feet in height but maybe only 2 or less inches in diameter in the base. No fruits yet. I am thinking on pruning. It goes inside during Winter ( zone 5b, IL). I only fertilize with fish emulsion.
