I’m beyond tired of batch production on these trains these days. If you blink you miss it and either have to wait another 7 years or pay someones insanely high price on ebay. Love the detail and prototypical accuracy but I would take a dumbed down Kato version that I could still get my hands on today. You would think that if the pre orders were really high indicating high demand that they would order a lot more of these. Luckily I did get 7021, but I am going to have to paint over the heritage unit if I want the 7022.
So odd that they are not on their site. They usually leave old run items on their site so this must be a some error or oversight. As for the details, the competition from other brands has really raised elevated details across the board, that is for sure. Also for those in the Bay Area, The Train Shop may have one left.
