I love her emotion in professing her desire to be pleasing to the Lord! It brought tears to my eyes, reminding me of my own joy in His presence. Praise the Lord!!
I can relate to a lot of this and went through a similar struggle. Thankfully, my struggle with doubt only lasted a couple of weeks and I was back in Jesus' arms. So glad she was brought back to God and serves him. Children brought up as Christians often need a season such as this to truly understand and embrace the Gospel. What she is saying about scoffers in Academia is so true. Many have turned away from the truth under their influence.
I like the point you made that children such as myself brought up in the church need a season to find God on their own. However, in my situation, I was brought up in a church that had no power, the preacher made up rules as he went along, he was wealthy from the loyal givers in the church and had multiple luxury cars. Noone knew that we didn't eat from day to day as children but yet my parents are still giving tithes and offerings to this false man of God. I wish that I was never raised in church and came to know God as an adult. I can't get the images of hypocrisy, being molested, starved and bullied because of this church out of my mind. The church is thriving while there are other families broken as well because of this evil man. There was one good Christian lady who I would study the bible with as a child. She was the only one who cared about me, more than my own mother. They drove her away from the church. Now she is afraid to talk to me. I feel so sad. She was one of the only real Christian's at that church. To hear people gossip about her made me sooo frustrated. They have no idea what showing the love of Jesus is about. I do want all of these religious posers to be judged in this lifetime. They dimmed the light on true followers of Christ and took our joy away . I can see the truth now ,but it was hard during my adolescence, teens and early twenties. I started spending money on people that rejected me when I was younger in order to buy their love.

Wrong. She said she accepted atheism and dated an atheist for a long amount of time. Her boyfriend's doctrine and demons were saturating her. Just because she was raised in a Christian household doesn't mean she was a follower of Christ. She always questioned from a young age and didn't believe in faith .She rebelled because she didn't want to feel broken like the church members around her. She felt as if God let them down because there was division and brokenness in her childhood church home.

I've been reading the bible for 25 years and yes He is very good...You would have the same opinion if you would let Him in your life and get to know Him...and yes you have a point on all the disagreeing.

Burning women alive is OK with you? Slavery is OK with you? Killing heretics, homosexuals, 'witches,' disobedient children, and your neighbors, when they pick up sticks on the weekend, is OK with you? How about your god's actions in Exodus, when he kept 'hardening the heart' of the Pharaoh, just so he'd have an excuse to keep showing off (and killing innocent Egyptian children)? What about drowning the whole world - men, women, and children alike (animals, too)? What about commanding genocide? How about Numbers 31: "And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. ... And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? ... Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. It never fails to amaze me how faith-based people can justify _anything,_ just to keep believing (in the overwhelming majority of cases, worldwide) whatever it was they were taught as a child. _your Creator does and He loves you very much_ Evidence? Why should I believe _you_ without evidence? Do you have *one piece of good evidence* that your god actually exists? Or maybe *one piece of good evidence* that _any_ of the magical stuff in the Bible actually happened? (Your choice.) Without evidence, why should I believe your unsupported claims over the unsupported claims of faith-based people who contradict you? Why should I believe _any_ of you, if you don't have good evidence backing up your claims?
@@Bill_Garthright - make no mistake -- we're not trying to prove anything to you. We have met God for ourselves and learned that He is good through relationship with Him. As you come to know Him, the challenging parts of Scripture do begin to be clarified. I would encourage you to seek to know God for yourself, though, and make up your mind after you have actually encountered Him. When you come into direct contact with Him and are overwhelmed by the love that He pours out on you, it will provide some pretty compelling evidence that your heart can take you places that your brain is not yet able to reach. She wasn't atheist. She grew up in church but never had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to begin with (a foundation). That's why it was so easy to "rebel" in college.
Everybody has a choice of their own lives also it is so normal that everyone has to find their own of view I really think that there is a verse of psalm 25:10 which its says that all paths in life so if it is her choice to be around with someone's else's believes no god then there are consequences in life there is no acting like it is a sacrilege about it of people believing no god bc everybody has to have faith in their own minds no matter what circumstances or other

first of all, atheism isn't a condition you need to be 'cured' of. second, a life of joy should be found by yourself and not by others telling you how to live your life (like in a religion), so it is inventible that one day that joy will become pain and harm.
Veronica started out with the presuppositions that god exists, she was broken at birth, and that she was in need of something that cannot be fulfilled by natural means. This is what christians are indoctrinated with. Sad. I will be thinking about you Veronica, hoping that one day you find out that god doesn't exist and it's ok. You don't need one. I will be hoping that you realize that nobody is born broken. And I will be hoping that you find the strength that is located deep inside of you to be who you want to be, without Christianity.

Wow !! What a powerful testimony ! After watching this video my conversion was completed and reinforced ! Atheism IS the only true and intellectually honest position. These videos do more to bring Christian's over to the atheist way of thought, than anything I could have ever come up with !!
That's all you took away from this beautiful testimony? Noone knows why people die when we still feel the need for their presence here on earth. Your anger is with God and you need to ask him to fill your heart with love and joy just like the lady in the video.
I personally agree. Some don't. Some are unhappy with their life and reality as it is. So what should they do? Pursuit reality or the comforting lie that makes them happy? They should pursuit reality and truth (and then find happiness in that), right? Either way, truth first, right?
@@jillum89 - it's important to clarify what is meant by "joy" and what level of "truth" you are talking about. Joy is not the same as happiness. It is much deeper and does not depend on circumstances. I also don't know if it's even possible to have joy that is based on a lie. Regarding truth, it depends on if you're simply talking about facts or if you're talking about the one who is the Truth (a.k.a. Jesus). If you just have the facts, you could totally miss joy. But if you have Jesus, the Truth, joy will be inherent in your relationship with Him.
Praise Jesus for finding him! :D I however even though I am a born-again Christian believe that homosexuality is not a sin except for the fact that it cuts off the line of procreation but rather it's not sin in the sense that a homosexual needs can be changed to heterosexual in order to become a Christian for I believe in the existence of LGBTQ+ Christians! :D
